Muslim Women?
I am not Moslem myself, but I have been living here in the Middle East for the past two years or so and have found it to be a very valuable experience, learning so much about the culture and religion.
I've lived in Nigeria and Singapore before as well, I absolutely love absorbing as much as I can about different cultures and have enjoyed that part about the international lifestyle I lead.
As for dressing sense; here, people of all nationalities (there are quite a few expatriates in the country, the majority of the population even) comply with the moderate-dress guidelines set by the country. You don't see women going around in, pardon the word usage, 'skimpy' clothing because they have developed a respect and understanding for the region's culture and religion. Regional females are not forced to wear the abaya, but many do- in this part of the region, largely for cultural reasons rather than religious. Yes, there's a difference.
But yes. Personally, I have a strong distaste for revealing clothing, but do mind that was a trait I had well before I moved here.
