Amen. I've never been a "skinny jeans" girl, nor will I ever be. Sure, I may lose weight but I don't think I'd ever want to wear skinny jeans. It's like saying, "look at me everyone, I'm cutting off the circulation in my legs."

If I want to wear tight clothing, I'll wear my leather waist cincher with my Renaissance garb, because it's on my upper half. Wearing tight clothes on the bottom half is just...uncomfortable. :P

I look terrible in them too. My legs are pretty thin but I've got quite wide hips, so if I wear skinny jeans I look like an upside-down triangle from the front. It's not a good look.

I always wear flared jeans, they're a woman's best friend.

I'm not a "skinny jeans" person either, as I've got wide hips, so they don't look good on me.

I am not skinny (5' 2'' and 140 pounds), but I actually like wearing skinny jeans and leggings. I just make sure to buy a size that is big enough for me so that they don't feel too tight around my hips. I am sure that some people probably think that I am too fat to be wearing these things, but I will wear what makes me feel comfortable. I have enough to worry about when going out in public without adding clothing to the list-I will wear my leggings and 3-inch heels and smile :)

I can wear them.. I have really skinny lower legs and normal thighs and a fat middle. I'm better off wearing other jeans. I can't wear hipsters because they make me look borderline obese. Got to be stomach high jeans.

I am a size 14, and I sometimes wear skinny jeans. The ones I have are larger sizes than what I normally wear and are made of a more stretchy material than most jeans. They don't even feel tight. One pair is by SouthPole and the others are by Piper & Blue. Most other brands of skinny jean don't fit me. I couldn't even get my CALVES through the LARGEST size of Hot Topic female skinny jeans. I did fit into their male skinny jeans, though.

I like wearing them. They look a bit odd because I have very skinny calves but I don't care. Straight leg jeans look a bit better. If you want something on the fitted side with just a bit more room in the lower leg than skinnies, try straight leg leans.

I wear skinny jeans every day - I am a UK size 16, so It's not about what size you are ! I have slim legs and small hips and they stretch and they are low rise too. They are Soooo comfortable for me because they stretch and are in soft stretchy denim. Many, many men wear them too. I wear them with converse trainers.

i wear mine with adidas trainers/runners/sneakers! i wear them both high and mid-rise. i have wide wips and a tummy so the higher rise prevents a muffin top.

i also like the feeling of being tightly held-in. but i don't know if that part makes sense.

i like skinny jeans (and straight and bootcut, etc.). Make sure you've got the right size. If you're wearing the proper size, the only difference should be in the style line, not in fit. If jeans are putting pressure on your belly you need to go up a size or maybe try a different brand (different manufacturers use different proportions). Also, be sure that the jeans you're trying on have stretch.

if you have a little bit of butt and thighs, try Guess jeans - they have some cuts that are kind of like skinny but that flare slightly over the ankle with a close but comfortable fit.

I can't wear skinny jeans. I need extra room due to the type of underpants that I need to wear because of the medical problem I have.
