I can't tan naturally (I go straight to burnt) so while I was on holiday I bought a fake tan which you rub on. Problem is, while you are applying it, it is completely invisible so you can't see which parts you have covered and which parts you have! I woke up the next day looking like streaky bacon! I had to go back to the shops (wearing a tracksuit in boiling hot weather!) to buy a darker, rub on fake tan which was pretty much orange, but it was either look like an oompa loompa for my entire holiday or a streaky bacon!

I'm also allergic to most make up and when I tried to go 'emo' and wear black make up under my eyes, I was always rubbing at it during the day so I'd end up with streaks down my face!

When I first started to shave my legs when I was about 11 (although I already had legs like a bear for a year) I shaved it really close. I didn't know that you're supposed to leave it for a week until the hair grows back, so for a couple of days I ended up doing the same and I ended up with really sore legs for ages that really burned in the shower.
I didn't bother to shave again for months, not because of that mistake but because I couldn't be arsed even though I had fields for legs.

:?

I shave my legs daily. You have to use a good lather and a moisturizer afterwards.

I know that now of course, but at the time I was so excited at the prospect of shaving my legs (I felt grown up) I just kept going over again and again with the razor until my legs were red all over.

i had shaving issues too. i shaved my legs whilst dry and my skin was abraded by the razor so instead of having hair make my legs look fluffy i had white skin make it look fluffy. i also had a hair cut from my mothers hairdresser and she told him to give me a side fringe i didnt want and he ended up cutting my front fringe so it was an inch long. i ended up combing my normal hair over the remains to make it look less obvious but that failed. i had to go to school with that hair. i could have cried. it was my last week before graduating and thats how everyone was gonna remember me.

My sister tried to use a home waxing kit to wax above my upper lip.
It hurt quite a bit and it took very little hair off.

In the 7th grade, I had a bad perm combined with a female version of the mullet as I was growing my hair out after having that Dorothy Hamil cut that was really huge when I was younger. I still have the yearbook with the picture as evidence of that disaster.

A few weeks ago, I thought it would be a good idea for me to get a pixie cut.

After it grows back, I'll look back and laugh.

It can work, but it takes a bit of practice to get right. I woud suggest practicing on another part of your body though

My first attempts at plucking my eyebrows horrified my poor mother so much she sat me down with some diagrams to explain what they are supposed to look like

Just this morning I cut my own hair for the first time. It took TWO different salons to fix it it was so bad.

Another time I tried to wear lipstick. I somehow completely missed and it stained half my face red.

On the same note, an at home spa mask turned my face green. That was actually kinda funny.

The worst I have done is a severe cut while shaving at the ankle, loads of blood everywhere...

I always cut my hair myself.

Home-cut hair, 'panda' eyeliner, and tight, girly clothes that made me look like the Michelin Man in drag. :P
