Todesking is just mad that people aren't giving him the validation he so richly deserves. As far as rape is concerned, I think it has more to do with power than sex. Then again, I'm not nearly the expert Todesking is.

to answer the question i don't think i would like to date a man who was into that, no.

i know it's fake yes yes. but i frankly couldn't give two hooeys. why would i want to sleep with someone who also likes to get off on cartoons of children getting raped. how is that not perverted:/. i also think it has potential to lower the barriers of what's acceptable in peoples subconscious. not saying everyone who watches it is going to go out and peado it about the place; but i can't see any positive effects stemming from that stuff.
although i've never really 'got' anime, so someone getting off over cartoons in general might make me think twice.

Actually this thread was about asking woman if they could trust a guy with Hentai style porn in their DVD collection. A lot guys are trying to turn into a thread defending their right to watch it.

I can't add "women only" to the title as it's too long so I'll ask here everybody to stay on topic. This is a thread asking women if they would date such a man not one for debating the issue of hentai and similar material.

Out of curiosity, maybe I should start a thread asking the same thing about women who like extremely twisted hentai, since I've known several, haha.

I'm friends with plenty of guys who are into this stuff. I'm fine with it b/c they all are very overt about the difference between hentai and porn, child porn, etc. They only like the stuff and don't feel like complete sickos while watching it b/c its sexual but OBVIOUSLY FAKE. A lot of it is for the humor of how unrealistic the stuff looks. I would prefer if all guys relieved themselves with imaginary crap (that involves individuals who've honestly gone through puberty) and quit touching girls, but that won't happen .

As long as he wasn't into such things in real life - there's a HUGE difference - and that this wasn't ALL he watched. A few such films is fair enough because most people's porn collection will include a wide range of different and sometimes questionable porn, but I think that if he was into nothing but animated children being raped then that would raise some serious questions.

I am also of the opinion that such porn should remain legal.
Not just because there's nothing wrong with it, but because it MAY be beneficial for prevention. Note I'm referring here mostly to inactive paedophiles; those for whom attraction to children is sexual preference, not those who see children as objects of abuse. Ideally such people would be able to get help without risk of persecution, however as it is now they can't, they're left to linger with constant guilt and confusion over feelings they [at first] know are wrong, combined with opportunity this may lead to them abusing kids. Simulated child pornography allows an outlet, a guilt-free outlet, that allows them to indulge that sexuality without abusing children.

Normal people don't see such animation and decide suddenly to go out to rape women and children...but people with sexual preference for children however may be less likely to abuse thanks to such animation. I'd take a paedophile watching an animated child over a paedophile watching a real child who has been abused by people who have made money from such abuse being viewed and who will go on to abuse more children as a result. It's not ideal by a long way, but anything that may prevent abuse shouldn't be instantly ruled out based on personal distaste - if it potentially saves just one child, that's reason to keep it legal.

No I wouldn't. Totally unacceptable to me.

I would have far less of a problem with a man who watched films etc of real sex between consenting equal adults, than of cartoon sexual violence or drawn images of child sex abuse.

It doesn't matter to me that it's not real as such, it is about the thought process.

I don't agree that it is preventative either, anything that normalises or validates inappropriate sexual activity is often used by sex offenders to justify their actions as normal and OK.
