i never really liked the look of high heeled shoes. people look uncomfortable in them, and their gait is "off". considering that they also hurt, i don't get the point.

i like to wear interesting and unusual fashions on my body, but i don't ever wear anything uncomfortable (i.e. no wool, not even cashmere because it itches me). i guess that translates into footwear too - i choose practical styles.

most of the time i wear shoes like thi

they look quite men's type of shoes....

I would prefer more of female type only

Fashion makes no sense. You can't win with conformity, ever. If you get a pair of shoes that are comfortable, w*kers give you nasty stares because the shoes don't look right with everything else you've got on. If you do get stylish shoes what look right with everything else you've got on, w*kers still give you nasty stares because you're walking around with a limp because the stylish shoes are hurting your feet.

I feel like approaching a female c**t in her 60s and going, ''what the f**k do you want me to look like then, you pathetic little c**t?!''

yes, namaste - they look like a men's style. my pair are women's but they are identical to men's. men's shoes are usually more comfortable than women's shoes (wider toe box, flexible material, proper arch support, thicker soles, natural materials, no heels) so i usually wear them.

Do people really look at shoes that much? I wear nice dresses all the time with sports sandals or sneakers, nobody seems to notice. I sometimes tried to look at people's shoes but most people here seem to wear sneakers.

hyperlexian I like your boots. I used to wear oxfords like those, too. They look like they give good kicks, somehow that makes them awesome. :)

. In nice weather I either go barefoot or wear 'minimalist' type shoes, like Evos: http://www.zappos.com/vivobarefoot-evo-l-black-white

Love shoes. Especially boots.
I'm currently obsessed with shoes by John Fluevog.
My favorite pair right now is called Lover and they are the most comfortable boots with heels I've ever worn. I can walk in these forever.

I wore a pair of high heel sandals at my brothers wedding. I ended up begging my parents to drive me back to the hotel (I was envisioning they would drop me off and then drive back) during the wedding reception because I felt awkward, weird, and overstimulated. They told me to walk back, I did but took them off halfway there, mostly because they were a half size too small but a width size too big.

And yeah, I like comfy shoes, too. Without socks. I'm not really sure why I don't wear socks. I did through a phase as a teenager where I would wear mismatching socks, and I'm not sure why I did that, too.

I don't understand wearing uncomfortable clothing or shoes at all. Normally I just go barefoot :)

I myself do really not like the idea of wearing heels and therefore decide not to wear them. When I go out to on special occasions and on holiday I tend to wear wide flat shoes as much as possible, I have difficulty to a degree especially abroad walking up and down stairs and wearing heels and uncomfortable shoes would only make it worse. Then again I am not one fashion.
Overall all the shoes I wear daily just tend to be mainly trainers, sandals and flat shoes(Men sandals ,ones in the summer with Velcro straps back and front as I like the overall feel of those better than having a small finicky buckle strap you see on women sandals and I always find women's tighter and uncomfortable)
Trainers are the ones I wear most of the time.
Mens trainers mostly as they feel more comfortable being more wider.
I'm not really into shoes. It's just what's comfortable to get around in I feel is most important.
