I've never had PMS.

But I do get the higher sex drive / higher energy level during ovulation thing, which is rarely discussed for some inexplicable reason. My doctor said that these are normal effects of the surge of testosterone that occurs during ovulation.

I hadn't thought about it before but now that you mentioned it, I see a pattern in my behavior. I do get more persistent and hypersensitive (sensory, not necessarily emotional) when I'm PMSing. PMS doesn't just mean cramps and crying jags for me.
