I actually like shaving because I love the way the fabric feels against my legs, but then again, I wish it were 50 F year round so I could wear jeans and long sleeves because I like feeling them against my skin...

Well... shaving your legs is utterly unnatural... so don't worry about feeling that way. It's only in the last few hundred years or so that Western women have pandered to paedophile tastes and tried to make themselves hairless anyway.

They found ancient texts from both Rome and Egypt that describes both men and woman shaving their bodies. I guess it goes in and out of style throughout the centuries. A lot of middle eastern cultures have shaved their bodies as well durring ancient times too.

I don't have hair on my legs, but I dislike the way most fabric feels on them.

I hate having hair on my legs. & underarms, but I don't shave, I used those hair removal creams because I don't like the phaff of using razors or electric shavers. The feeling of clothes on hairless legs sure beats the feeling of clothes on hairy ones :D

I know I started to shave my legs because it was the expected social norm, but I still do it because I like the sensation of cloth on shaved legs.

I don't really do it for anyone else, since I hardly do it at all. I mainly do it when I want to feel it. I've been considering going to waxing so I can get it taken care of regularly, but haven't followed through.

There's really no need for waxing unless you swim a lot or do sport and need to shave very often, I hate it because it often makes your skin bleed, I can't even stand plucking my eyebrows so I cut them, makes the hair grow back thicker but hey. I just use a hair remover, they last a good few days before it needs doing again.

I couldn't stand it, and I hated the chore of it, and always getting cut. i tried using creams but I would get rashes and they wouldn't work. I hate the feel of pants against shaven legs. it's unnatural to me. so don't shave. I have since I was probably 15 or so.

I do not shave my legs anymore, because I do not like the feeling.
Both the feeling of the act of removing the hairs as well as the feeling of fabric against shaved legs.

For me, the hairs form a buffer that lessens the sensation of fabric against my skin. I appreciate that buffer alot, as fabrics can be quite invading to my senses.
About 1 in 20 jeans is gentle enough to be considered somewhat comfortable and then I only wear them when I need to score Acceptance Points.

I hate the feeling that tearing out a single hair (for example in your face) gives.
I did that once and it gives me shivers when I think back.
Since then I just cut those hairs with scissors to prevent helpful family members from wanting to pull them out.

I myself consider the hairs a part of me and have no problem with them being visible.

Exactly how I feel, almost to the letter.
10 years ago, I started dating a man who didn't care if my legs were shaved or not. Stopped shaving. Married that man. Waxed twice a year for two years. Stopped removing the hair altogether, unless I'd be wearing a dress. Then stopped wearing dresses. F that S, is what I thought. Pain when you wax. Cuts when you shave. Stubble pressing back and forth with every step. Dry spots. Missed spots. Band aids.

I don't shave at all in the winter. My boyfriend doesn't care/notice and I hate shaving. I used to cut myself a lot shaving and I have compulsive skin picking so I'd always pull the scabs up and it would hurt like hell. In the summer it depends and I'll maybe shave a few times a month.

I can't decide how I feel about having shaved legs. Jeans feel weird against them for the first day but then it's ok, and the feeling of my legs against eachother is lovely when they're smooth. Generally I'll shave them regularly in summer, but only when I'm going to wear a skirt in winter (so maybe two or three times). Some of my NT friends only shave them regularly in summer too so it's obviously not that unusual. My boyfriend has said that he doesn't care if I'm hairy or smooth, he'd just rather there was no stubble. :)

uhhhhhhh yes I hate shaving my legs..........what I hate more is the feel of the hair as it's just starting to grow out....it's so prickly and itchy. I only shave in the summer when I want to wear a skirt.

i rarely bother. I never wear shorts or skirts and noone need see. I dont actually understand why people think its so ugly. Its just natural.

I hate the feeling of denim on shaved legs or other heavy material and the itching when hair grows in is unbearable.

I don't mind, it feels nice to me. I never bother with shaving above my knees, though.

Like you, I don't shave my legs in the winter unless I have to dress up for something. However, I hate it when the hair is so long that it rubs the pant legs of my pajama bottoms, then I HAVE to shave. I can't handle that feeling.

Totally off, but having my nails filed when I go out to get a mani or a pedi, I cringe the entire time. I can't handle feeling it all. Some think its weird, but that's Aspergers for ya!

I wax my legs and clean up errant hairs in between by shaving. I love the feeling of shaved legs in sheets, clothes, etc. That said, I cannot stand the feeling of shaved underarms. It hurts. So I don't bother with that. I also don't have a rampant growth of hair under my arms (or anywhere else on my body, rarely wear short sleeves or tank tops, have no partner so it's a non-issue. Actually, if my body hair was an issue with a partner, they probably wouldn't be my partner after a short while. :D
