Ok try thinking of it this way.

You might be too afraid to call the cops, but which is scarier? Reporting the guy to the police or having him hurt you worse because he's pissed off and knows you won't do anything?

You might not have a bruise any more, but surely you have people who care for you who will testify that you are telling the truth? You can still make a statement. I was able to make one when I got harassed by a group of kids as a young teen and I didn't have to provide proof.

I'm sorry I can't come round and teach that guy that smaller women are not prey, via my feet and fists.

Nice... It's been two weeks since the first post, I just noticed. You could at least give the cops a statement that he's already physically assaulted you once, and is still out there. They take that seriously; they're required to, even if the proof's mostly faded away now. Plus, like mentioned above, you've got people who will testify in your defense that you're telling the truth, if need be.

You've got nothing to lose, even this late in the game.

Well it's not the only time he's done it.
Probably not the only person he's done it to either.
I just thought if I ignored him he'd go away.
But he's not.

I will do this. Tomorrow as it's late now.
He can't keep doing this to me.
It's messing with my head.

YES. I told you you have strength.

The fact that it's not the only time he has done it is all the more reason to report him. He's dangerous to you and to other people.

i think i'm more worried he's doing this to other people.
i can't let him do that. i know the sort of girls he likes and they don't have anyone to help them.
i'm lucky that i do.

If you don't report him to the police he will eventually kill you. I know that sounds harsh but that is how these types of situations play out, and he may even do something to Stefan if he is crazy enough, like OJ Simpson. You MUST report him because he won't stop.

The courts won't care whether you've had a shady past or not. You could be the worst person on the planet and you would still have the protection of the law. Don't let your past persuade you not to report this guy to the police.
