Girly-girl? In a way, sort of. I do wear skirts frequently, I love pink and lavendar, I'm planning on taking a class of fashion design, i wear makeup and jewlwery every once in a while, I carry a purse along with my backpack to school, and I'm non-athletic. But I don't like shopping all that much, I hate big parties, I'm disgusted by the idea of loosing weight just for cosmetics, don't care much about celebrities, and I often hang out with tomboys.

I don't wear make-up or girls clothes. I don't think I've ever been girly

When I was younger, I hated to wear dresses and would express my distaste for being dolled up by wearing either no shoes or smelly sneakers along with whatever I was made to wear. I never played with dolls except to torture them. I loved stuffed bears, but they were not really dolls as much as they were my friends and peers. I loved to make weapons like swords and bow & arrows out of things I'd find in the yard or basement. I absolutely loved to play in the mud to the point that people called me Miss Piggy. People assumed that therefore I liked pigs and the color pink, both of which things are not true at all. I only started to become more girly in college not because I really liked it, but because I didn't want to be alone the rest of my life. Men did not care for me as anything but a buddy in my normal attire (my brother's clothes from the attic that were vintage by the time I started wearing them). Interestingly enough, I had sort of given up on dressing girly by the time I met my husband. I do still dress up for social occasions and am not too terribly uncomfortable, but I do tend to think of wearing dresses and make-up like wearing a costume.

Definitely not. i used to hate pink and flowery dresses although I tolerated my first bridesmaids dress because it was cotton and knee-length and at least had blue stylized lttle flowers on it. I also liked pleasing people and was shy. Dresses were allthat was available till i was 10, second -hand ones at that. I wore a blue one with yellow red and black flowers to the death and then gave the rags to my dolls. Yes I collected dolls as well as animal ornaments, teddies and broken jewellery but the dolls were in the army with my brother's action men and i had to have an action man too, though i put up with an inferior plastic diver first, then i had a commander and we all 3 got johnny combats (GI Joes) . I had to have an airfix kit, some soldiers and aput together skeleton like my brother and sister. We all climbed trees together, did chemistry experiments and had a microscope and liked monsters, especiaally prehistoric ones. I lost interest in the dolls house at thirteen, and as soon as I could I lived in jeans, trousers and sensible shoes.-trainers weren't in the shops when i was young and there was no clothes shop in our town till I was 14. I hate clothes shopping but funnily enough I like get ting clothes and once had a great collection of jumpsuits and overalls. I dress up and wear make-up as a character or sometimes for parties although I usually just eat drink and dance alone to music at them. I usually end up dirtyy however smart I start and think i look horribkle in every thing, though i have been for a photo shoot and looked great in black lycra and a feather boa. I wasappalled that they destroyed all the photos if we could not buy them for a high price immediately, it destroyed all the happiness at getting the photo shot free. we all liked raising caterpillars, knocking bits of wood together and fossill collecting. i hate housework and can't cook well. I am an artist and writetr.

I do like pretty things but feel most comfortable in jeans or slacks and loose fitting tops. Make-up makes my face feel smothered (unless it's just a little bit of lipstick) and I can't remember the last time I wore it. My hair is usually a bit messy even though I brush it every day. So maybe I'm not very girly.

It's interesting because when I was a kid I was a to boy wanted to play with the boys. Was not a girly girl, but now as an adult in some ways I am a girly girl not in the womanly since like fashionable clothes and make-up, but in a girly fasion like lots of pink and purple, butterflies, flowers. In a lot of ways I dress like a kid not for fashion but for comfort and I love kids stuff.

I've never been that girly, but I am considering on wearing a dress for special occasions, and a summer dress for the summer, because I like attracting men.

I kind of am. I like make up and skirts and cute things. I have a very feminine mind.

eh-- I'm probably a mixture, maybe.
I try to wear clothes where I don't really stand out but at the same time, look acceptable to society.
I don't really care what society thinks but I have noticed there are advantages to dressing good.
My preference however is a large blackhoodie and some gray cargo pants, but from my experience, when you dress like you're homeless, cops interrogate you. (especially in Chicago).
I don't usually wear dresses, skirts, or any of those sorts, but that's because i'm highly insecure about my weight, so I probably would be a girly girl if I overcame my eating disorder.

No way. I have a men's haircut so I do not have to brush it. I wear jean and a T-shirt all the time. I refuse to wear any makeup or jewelry. Most of my cloths are over 10 years old. About the only thing that is remotely girly is my love of animals but that is somewhat tarnished by my belief it is fine for farm animal to become dinner.

I consider myself a girly-girl but in actuality I am very tomboyish. I love the look of hair, nails, clothes, etc. but never really go through all that trouble myself except for special occasions. I never wear makeup on a daily basis, or do my nails, and I would not consider myself a fashionista in my daily life.

I wouldn't say so. Heck, half of the time I'll even forget that I'm female.

Yesterday, I was talking with a coworker about lockpicking (long story) and I said that remember when you were a kid and pretended to pick locks. And he was like, okay, I never knew girls pretended to pick locks. I was kind of like...yeah, I'm that wierd girl who played with Barbies and picked locks, . LOL

I'm not sure what a girly-girl is.
I like to wear make up, & wear clothes that look nice (mostly plaid shirts, jeans or long shorts in the Summer.) So I probably look girly. Wrong.
Sometimes it's nice to wear a dress or skirt, but only if you don't plan to do anything much.
I HATE pink! There is none in my wardrobe.
Most of my interests are not girly.

No, I am not. I hate pink, never wear dresses or skirts and have short hair just because it´s more practical. I also prefer practical clothes and if I found clothes I like I keep them as long as I can. I rather repair something and only wear them at home when they´re too old than I throw them away. I don´t care about fashion, I just care that my clothes are socially acceptable. So I usually just wear jeans and t-shirts or simple pullovers. I also don´t like shopping for clothes and shoes and I don´t use make-up.

I'm not a girly girl at all.
