As I said, I can only speak for NT guys because I never dated or lived with an Aspie. I would imagine that it's different with an Aspie, but not sure.
I asked the NT guys I know about the cookies vs. sex question and they laughed. They said to forget the cookies, so I guess that's different as well.
A funny thing actually happened while I was on vacation. My sister-in-law said her mother told her the way to keep her man happy was to feed him well every night. She said she had learned this was right for herself. My dh started laughing and said I couldn't cook anything, even in a microwave, but he didn't care because I took care of him in other ways. So, I guess that's what he thinks! I didn't ask my brother about the other, but my brothers always swore that men were either having sex or wanting it at all times. (Of course this was advice when I was dating and it was probably intended to scare me into never being alone with men!) I made up my own marriage rules and they've been working for 26 years. I had a mother of a meltdown last night and I will have to use my rules to make up for that. His rule for dealing with meltdowns? Brush my hair until I fall asleep. I love to have my hair brushed.
