I'm sick of the men on WP.

What’s MGTOW?
Wikipedia is your friend...Wikipedia wrote:
Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW /ˈmɪɡtaʊ/) is a mostly pseudonymous online community of men supported by websites and social media presences cautioning men against serious romantic relationships with women, especially marriage.
The community is part of what is more broadly termed the manosphere. MGTOW have "...vowed to stay away from women, stop dating and not have children". MGTOW focuses on men's self-ownership rather than changing the status quo through activism and protest, making MGTOW distinct from the men's rights movement. The Southern Poverty Law Center has identified MGTOW as a male supremacist group.

Thank you. Lol you learn something new every day.
I've only been here a short amount of time and haven't had a problem with the men, or women here. Everyone has an opinion to offer and moans from time to time but isn't that the same everywhere?

Incels are not a sympathetic group, they are a hate group (recognized as such by the Southern Poverty Law Center.) Guys shouldn't be allowed to promote incel ideology here any more than they can talk about how great it is to join the KKK. Many incels on their forums claim it is a "support group"--then they proceed to spew hateful rhetoric about women, encourage each other to "rope" or commit suicide because there is no hope for them, or to go on a rampage and get "revenge" on women.
The general public already makes uninformed assumptions about the killer whenever one of these mass killings happen and they are frequently labelled as autistic by the press (like Elliot Rodger and Alek Minassian) and I really don't think we should be allowing incel ideology here because it reinforces the connection the public makes between incels and autism, and that makes our lives more dangerous like when we have to deal with police. If they mistakenly think we're all on the verge of extreme violence there can be more deaths at the hands of police officers who aren't properly trained on how to deal with autistic people, which is already a problem and doesn't need to be made worse.
Incel ideology should not ever be allowed to be part of our community, it's too violent and hateful.

First of all, autistics are actually overrepresented in the incel forums community, so like it or not there is actually something of a connection to be made there. I don't recall seeing many (or any) people here that I would say is linked to the incel community, or who seem entrenched in incel ideology, but I have browsed the incel forums myself and found that a disproportionate amount of them cited autism/aspergers as one of their challenges as it relates to connecting with women.
Secondly, would you have objected just as much if the forum post read "bigotry against lonely/virgin men" or is the involuntarily celibate reference your point of contention?

So are you guys going to just follow me around the forum now and try to start arguments with me? Because I won't play along. I've said what I have to say on the subject.

I didn't even know you'd posted here at all until I clicked the post. The only reason I'm replying to you is due to the content of your post. I'd reply the same way regardless of what username was beside it.

Well I've said my piece on the subject and now I'm done. I don't want to have a conversation with you about it. Talk to someone else in the thread who shared similar views, if they are willing.

I 100% agree with this. The fact that that thread has stayed open as long as it has gives me serious pause about sticking around here. The funny thing is, I have found safer-feeling forums on Reddit, and I spend more time there.
The thread isn't breaking any rules. The way we talk on wp is like friends having a group chat. That's why it's so long. There's no reason to block it.
No one is in favour of the incels forum mentality, and it seems we've cone to the conclusion that not all celibate men can be grouped as "incels" tm.

Well now, there seems to be a spectrum of Incel behavior, from extreme misogyny to extreme self-loathing, all of which seems painted with a thick coating of narcissism.

I don't have "skin in this game" since I'm a married hetero male, so I kind of watch by the sidelines. I assume not all celibate men at this point are or should be grouped as "incels" since it seems the very term has become derogatory or at least has a negative connotation to it.
Although there are far fewer in number, there certainly can be men who voluntarily choose celibacy, including but not limited to those men that take religious vows as such.
However, did I see it on WP where apparently men who voluntarily choose to be celibate and voluntarily choose not to continually pursue a mate have been labeled something else altogether (I forget what they're known as. Remember, everyone and every group needs to be labeled something according to some.....)? It caught my eye because apparently voluntarily celibate men are deemed to be gender supremacists and their group as such are labeled as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center? Or, maybe I was duped and that was something from The Onion. Shame on the SPLC if that's actually a true thing (voluntarily celibate men being labeled as gender supremacists). Any male, for any reason that is not in a relationship, that would truly be a "damned if you do and damned if you don't".

Problem is western women by and large are lazy useless shrews who just blame men for everything, including bad weather.

And I'll explain why I haven't locked the "Bigotry Against Incels!" thread when I have more time.
