I don't really like any of the terms people normally use so I ask myself this every time I have to mention it, which isn't often anyway. I do really hate the use of "vagina" when "vulva" is what's meant, as well as the fact that it's fine for men to use slang terms for their bits but we're just supposed to (mis)use clinical terms.

I don't have a lot of conversations about my genitals, really. For some reason they just don't come up in conversation. For example, at orchestra tonight, not one reference was made to them despite the rehearsal going for a whole 3 1/2 hours. Sometimes I get the impression that people have other things to think about.
I don't need words to talk about them to myself as I don't think in words, and since I don't normally find a need to mention them to other people, the issue of what to call them never really comes up. I guess I'd just call them by their clinical names.

I call mine Sasha... "WHO TOUCHED SASHA?!"

Okay... on a serious note, I just call it my vagina... plain and simple. I would name it something, like how guys name their penises, but nothing has stuck...

When I was a little girl I called it a binky. In my profession we're supposed to say vagina and penis when talking to the children at daycare during washroom time.

In general I usually say my vajayjay or down there when I'm around people unprofessionally.

I like that word , Amy is hilarious. I call mine my 'lady parts', dunno if that's horribly old fashioned or plain weird, but I think it sounds funny and reasonably polite at the same time, while it's still clear what you're referring to.

My china, due to a mispronunciation of my little guy. When he hopped in my lap one day, he asked, "Mom, did I crush your china?" And the name stuck..

If I'm talking about it in a non-sexual way I call it my fouf (pronounces foof), it's a silly jokey name that is used where I am from, I don't know how widespread the use is elsewhere. In a sexual context I would use the word 'p****' and in a medical one, 'vagina'. I try and avoid the 'C' word.
