I find men's jeans more roomy and comfortable, but I definitely have a girly butt and hourglass shape. I also like the pockets on men's jeans and the . . . oh, what's the word, not accessories, but variety of styles in men's jeans rather than woman's jeans: hammer holders, longer pockets or more pockets, etc because of my personal aesthetic taste.

As for body type, I'm definitely girlish. I've tried to crossdress in the past and found it to be a frustrating barrier to crossdressing effectively. Binding is painful.

I've never heard of the banana type, but that's what I am. I hate wearing strapless anything because my shoulders are wide though. I still consider myself girlish physically, but I can dress to either gender.

I really don't have a girlish figure.

I always thought a "girlish figure" meant that it was youthful or almost childlike. I think you might be referring you a "womanly" figure. I don't think I look very girly, but I definitely look like a woman (maybe a slightly androgynous appearance due to my mannerisms and clothing).

Is a squared-off "banana" considered girlish???

By the time I've carried four kids and nursed three, I've earned broad shoulders. big saggy boobs, and one hell of a "mummy tummy." It's not belly fat-- it's just stretched-out skin with nowhere to go. Does that count???

OMG! Loose stretched out skin! About 15 years ago,I was having difficulty slipping on my jeans[ always bloated a lot when I had my periods] So, sans underwear, I laid on the bed [no underwear] and gave a quick and hard zip. I was immediately blinded by pain. I had zipped my skin into my zipper. [if you ever saw "something About Mary," it was something like that [except tummy skin rather than penis]

What is a squared off banana body?

Funny, I interpreted girlish as thin and waifish! Childlike.

I have a very womanly hourglass ++ shape. Broad shoulders and broad hips, but a comparatively narrow waist. But I still wear men's clothes:~
They are long enough and the shoulders are broad enough. I don't like being squeezed. And women's clothes are so undignified.

same here.

why does anyone wear high heels?? i will never understand.

My shoulders and hips are the same width, with waist being comparatively narrow. And everything is covered with a thin layer of fat for extra comfort:D all the weight I gain distributes pretty evenly, but it's easiest for me to notice on my arms.

To answer starvingartist, I find wearing height heels makes me look kind of slimer. That's the only possible advantage.

Well, I thought I had a girlish figure untill I saw myself in one of the many inescabable mirrors in the gym. What a letdown!
I definitely need to do something about the tummy area which is an extra motivation to take physical excersise more seriously than I have done so far. I was actually glad that I had been putting on some weight because I used to be too skinny but most of it went to the wrong places apparently.

Yes, I have a very distinctive hourglass figure. I love feminine clothing as well.
