Yes, when I feel like it, although I have gotten a bit lazy about it lately. When I do go for it, I remember how creative and fun it can be. This is why I went to beauty school for esthetics (skin care/ make-up) then nail technology.

Yes!

I’m an entertainer/dancer I originally forced myself before I knew I had asd and it was hell for me learning all of that things, then I found YouTube and learned and now it’s become a special intrest of mine one of many. I feel the reason we aspie ladies find makeup uncomfortable is because we don’t know how to apply it properly if you’re interested in learning more ask me and I’ll send you some links also always moisturize your skin before putting on make up.

I think because of sensory issues make up is uncomfortable for me. I also hate my hair touching my face.

I'm a bit arty and I also liked creating an identity and persona for myself when I was in college. But because I really constantly feel anything foreign touching my face, I couldn't do as much as I would have liked to and I would rub everything I did put on off unconsciously. I would have liked to hide behind a dramatic make up mask back then!

Now my identity and community are not really make up people. I'm glad my senses and my executive function don't have this additional burden. I also have really come to appreciate natural beauty. Most of my female acquaintances don't do any make up and still look beautiful.

I prefer barely there make-up
Even my lipgloss is clear
Mascara is the worst

I wear metallic or coloured eyeliner if I want to add something extra

BB cream is preferred but I need to find one my shade. I haven't bought new make-up in nearly 2 years though

I love experimenting with makeup, especially eyeshadow looks, but only when I have enough time to do so.
I find it very therapeutic unless I'm in a rush, then it just makes me extremely anxious as I don't like leaving things unfinished or not to the standard I prefer.

So if I have limited time to get ready I usually just wear mascara and concealer.
If I have a good chunk of time to get ready I love experimenting with bright, colourful eyeshadow and will spend a good hour trying to nail the look.

Although I will admit that I'm terrible at winged eyeliner and can't stand false eyelashes, they feel like spiders on my eyes. 8-O

Sometimes I do if I'm going out, but usually only eyebrow pencil, mascara and little lipstick or gloss. Sometimes powder. I hate the feeling of foundation on my skin and it takes forever to put on right, so I hardly ever wear it unless it's for a special occasion.

No, I don't wear makeup. Partly, it reminds me of the few times I had my face painted at fairs as a child, so it feels clownish to me. Partly, I don't want the feel of it on my skin. Partly, I have sensitive skin. Partly, I never go anywhere fancy, and have never wanted a husband or boyfriend. Partly, I don't want to pay for it. Partly, I don't want to spend time on it. Partly, I don't have the energy for non-essential stuff like this. And partly, all the war paint in the world won't make me look all that good

I used to, but I haven’t worn makeup consistently for 3 months. I feel really liberated.

No make-up. Waste of time, money and effort. I stay indoors and I don't care enough about myself to apply make-up. I consider it an achievement to get washed and dressed in the morning.

I used to just wear eye pencils and lip balms. Until make up became one of my special interests! I love watching make up videos and buying/ doing make up! I also love cute packagings and scented products.

Cool! That sounds awesome. Have you ever wanted to work as an M.U.A. (a.k.a. Make-Up Artist) for a living?

I sometimes do, but I very rarely go out with it because it annoys me.

Yes, though i kind of don't know where to begin! I've heard that Mac has courses and though it'd a bit expensive maybe it can be a start! :)

No but I love makeup. I also find it annoying and frustrating so I don't use it. Plus, I get perfectionists (have the frustration) and I can't afford to or have the time

But I like it. I colour my hair instead :-)

No, I do way too much outdoor work to wear it. I'll wear it on special occasion though.
