i love skirts! i love the really long, loose, flowy ones that reach the floor, because i love the feel of them swishing around my ankles. it makes me feel like a little girl again.
i have also recently discovered that i quite enjoy really short skirts too. i'm not sure why, but they give me this confidence boost that is amazing. i'm still trying to puzzle out the origin though... until about three months ago i refused to wear anything that hit above my knees, and now it is either mini skirt or floor length. it bothers me to feel the material swishing around my calves. *shudder*

I love skirts and dresses, but I have same problem with chafing, and with tights, so I only tend to wear them on days I know I'm not going to be walking around much. Otherwise, I often wear short dresses with long pants as workwear. I just bought some thigh-high socks from American Apparell, I'm hoping to be able to wear them instead of tights with short skirts/dresses.

I love to wear skirts and dresses, especially sun dresses. They're comfortable but pretty.

I hated them as a kid because it limited what I can do so I always wore shorts. When I wear them today, I wear shorts under it.

Also I want one of these :D

I always think that they look pretty and could be fun to wear, but they're so impractical I never find a good opportunity to wear them. Jeans always seem more sensible for what I'm going to be doing that day.

I rarely wear them, I might wear a mini skirt in summer sometimes but I mostly wear trousers.

Used to cry as a child if I was forced to wear a skirt or dress; I didn't see myself as that "sort" of person to dress like that, & I felt it was demeaning.

Now I only wear them when it's a fancy occasion, and I don't like it, because I feel restricted in my movements.

I have to have my legs covered in some way. I wear trousers and I wear dresses and skirts, but when I wear dresses and skirts I always wear tights (pantyhose) or hold-ups and preferably 40 denier or higher.

Partly it's because I hate the way that uncovered legs feels and partly it's because I have the usual aspie-type clumsiness and I seem to permanently have bruises all over my legs and I want to hide them.

I don't like shorter skirts, only long ones, and to the floor. I can't stand anything shorter. I usually wear pants, but when I feel like wearing skirts, I wear long ones.

same with me. I don't like wearing dresses/skirts/blouses or anything that is really feminine. I don't even wear jeans XD mostly because most of the times I wore them they were cold, stiff, and rough on my legs. So I wear mostly soft clothing :P

I hate dresses skirts! The only time I will ever wear one is at a wedding. I am also a tomboy. Oh and I sit with my legs up most of the time, so.....

I don't have the confidence to wear overtly feminine clothes. I won't wear dresses, skirts, low cut shirts, high heels or pink :P .

I wear skirts, always A-shaped, teen fashion what matches DMs/boots and other clothes (my style examples). It's easier to buy skirt what is only shorter than looking for trousers with higher waist and 35" long.
And skirt doesn't fall like trousers and is more comfortable for iceskating.

I wear skirts and dresses occasionally, usually quite long ones. They don't help much with my height, but I prefer them that way.

Mostly I wear dungarees, though.

Dresses/skirts make me feel profoundly uncomfortable and exposed. I really dislike them. The only time I wear a dress is if I have to go to a wedding.

When I was a teenager my mother actually removed all my jeans from my wardrobe in the middle of the night in a vain attempt to get me to wear a dress, but fortunately, she missed a pair. She still got really upset at me anyway for wearing that one pair that she forgot to remove. These days she has come to accept the type of clothes I feel more comfortable in, although I suspect that is only because I came out as gay. If I was straight she would probably still be trying to get me to wear dresses and other ultra girly clothes.

I love being a woman and I love wearing "girly" clothes. To me, they are one of the perks of being a woman! (Yes, I did say that about great shoes, and I meant it -- especially heels.) I've always preferred skirts and dresses. I wish I lived somewhere where it was warm enough to wear them year-round. (That place is not Missouri!) I think this has something to do with how much prettier they are than pants; I love pretty clothes! What's the point of getting dressed if the clothes aren't pretty and/or fasionable? (My style tends to be classic rather than trendy, though.) The other part is that given the chance, I'd rather go naked than anything else. A skirt feels much closer to nudity than pants -- plus, an A-line skirt is a great way to hide any unsightly portions of the thigh, and if you have a nice butt, a pencil skirt shows it off to advantage. My husband thinks it's totally hot that I wear skirts and dresses so much; a few times my friends have joked about how I'm the most guy-like in how I think and what I like, but I'm the only one who always wears a skirt!
