Wow, most of that describes me perfectly! Thanks!

I could be the poster child for a female with AS according to this chart!

I just printed this out to show my mum to explain AS to her more symptom-wise. Wow... nearly every single one of these fit me perfectly.

Honestly, I can't find very much that DOESN'T describe me. Everything from being a self-taught reader to the interests listed to the "well balanced anima" to getting overly excited and waving my hands. Honestly, that fit me better than any other personality typed test/type/ect. I'm pretty astounded and have to say I just saved this to give to my Mother when I have to explain what the hell Aspergers is and that I was just diagnosed with it...

The only thing I can see that doesn't fit me, is me being emotionally sensitive

I fit every. Single. One. EVERY one of these. So much so that I'm going to send it to my parents tomorrow morning, and might even bring it with me to my first diagnostic appointment.

This sounds exactly like me.
Fitting into a table makes me uncomfortable though. Only a month ago I was this unique eccentric gal, clueless about Aspergers and today I am just a textbook case. I am feeling quite depressed about it.
I keep telling myself I am the same person I was last month... Oh, well, I will get over myself, eventually.

Is there an equivalent chart somewhere for males? I think this chart format is well useful.

That should work.

That is NOT me at all! Especially the "dresses comfortably, eccentric etc.."
I don't consider myself half male half female. either i'm 100% girl. I dress pretty cute and fashionable. I spend alot of time on my apperance. This says that all girls with aspergers are nerdy and working professionals

I think only one didn't fit me...and yet my husband seems to think I'm batsh*t crazy for considering Asperger's and wanting to have the kids assessed.

Thank you for this. :D :D

You don't have to match all the traits. :P This chart isn't here to offend you. Different people will have more or less of them.

oh wow! there may be 3 or 4 traits there that I don't share, but other than that, just wow, that's me!
all my life I've always felt like a misfit and a weirdo and here is a chart that describes me perfectly and other women identify with it too. I think I may cry right now, I'm not alone!
