Oh, those thingies...that's ok. You guys can keep 'em.

I should hope so! 8O

 ...not to imply I have the power to call the shots on that one. Just that, despite what our good friend Freud might have said, that's one of the aspects of being male I don't envy.

In the words of Seinfeld's Elaine: "They shrink? ...I don't know how you guys walk around with those things."

Females ALSO get lower health insurance and car insurance rates than males, generally all things being equal. I had to PAY for my first car because they LAUGHED at the idea of a boy getting insurance for a sports car.

I don't agree with your "grass is greener" sentiment; women have always and still do suffer in ways that make men's problems seem quite trivial and petty.

But I can't get this f**king song out of my head now:

ARGH. THANKS A LOT.

I always wished I were a guy. All my friends were guys...they told me I was one of the guys....and I never felt femmy...all the stuff that most women do seemed odd.

Then I fell in love with my best friend. First time I ever felt like I fit in. I was a gay woman with another gay woman. She's the only one that ever accepted me the way I am. All my quirks and oddities...she never questioned them.

I guess I'm still pretty gender neutral though. I guess I can be whatever I want.

you know, it's this sort of stuff that just bothers me no end. Do you really, I mean truly in your heart of hearts believe that a woman is just a man with out a penis??(and testicles?)

think about it. I have heard this effluvia all my days and it is not even biologically correct.

Women are not men with out a penis/testicles. Cutting off a man's genitals does not make them a woman. Get with it.

Yes she does because she secretly wishes she were a guy :P  :D
But you are absolutely correct Merle ;). Ive said it before, and I'll say it AGAIN:Castrating a man is about as effective at turning him into a woman as a hysterectomy is a turning a woman into a man(without a prick  ).

It seems to have provided you with endless amusement... :P

Anyhow, I'm not the one who keeps bringing it up.

Yeah, I heard a guy on the radio talking about how soe nurses laughed at him for being like .5" flacid. HECK, there have been a few times when I was probably not much more than 1" flaccid(it is RARE though). As long as it is long enough to satisfy the husband, and the wife, when it is erect, WHO CARES. I would LOVE the flaccid state to be shorter. As for testicles, they idea of them being outside is a bad idea. I read somewhere recently that SUPPOSEDLY most mammals had to have some attribute that required most to have the testicles cooler than the body. If I had my way, they wouldn't be outside. Then again, there are certainly things the average woman would want to change about the average woman. Smoother down there, less hair down there, maybe a bit bigger, and better positioned clitoris, no need for periods, etc... HECK, some wish they were were like female seahorses!(Where the MALE ends up getting pregnant 8O )

I'm female. I relate to men better than women, and I often consider myself a man in a woman's body, but I like my body too much to change it, and I don't know what it would really be like to be male so . . . I'm content to remain the way I am.

I'd have to know what it's like to be male in order to have an opinion on which gender I'd rather be.

It's because normal body temperature kills sperm, which is also why you shouldn't go in a hot tub if you're trying to have kids.

Looks like everything is starting to even out on these polls. Makes me think of we're all the same but different but all the same but different. If that makes any since.

I sometimes contemplate about how life would be as a girl, but I am born a man, and sex-change operations really wouldn't be worth the trouble. Part of the experience is growing up as the gender you are as an adult.

*****WRONG***** the biology is such that sperm have to be cooler to properly mature. I knew what YOU said since I was like 5 or 6, SERIOUSLY!(That it is as it is) The question is WHY it is as it is! To say it is that way because it is that way is certainly no answer.

Apparently they are still kind of debating about the idea of why testicles had to be outside, etc... There are several theories. I wondered why some mammals don't seem to have them outside. Apparently MANY don't! Hippos, elephants, and dolphins, whales, porpoises, etc... to name just a few. BTW, interestingly enough, they originally felt that those animals simply didn't need to have cooler testicles. NOW, they believe there is a difference in blood flow so that the blood is colder. So humans are like an old VW bug(air cooled), and elephants are like other cars, water(er blood) cooled.
