more vulnerable to sexual assault/abuse than NT females?

This particular forum really hit home because my (now ex) boyfriend assaulted me over a year ago. I actually fought him off and spoke up and said no. It's sad, but even with NT girls, there is that guy who won't stop even if she says no. I've been working with both male and female classmates to change my school's unfair sexual assault policy. This is a sensitive issue, and I commend fellow survivors for their strength. It's difficult, but my advice is to be very careful. If a stranger calls out to you, ignore him. I attend an urban school, so I've experienced harassment from strangers. I don't answer them and just walk away, but I make sure they're not following. Never give out your name or phone number or any other information to a stranger. I'm a huge advocate for abuse survivors, so expect to see me on similar threads.

I think that girls with Autism could be more at risk, but it does happen to NT's too. I don't have Autism and I have been sexual assaulted. There are lots of other factors among NT's that could make them more vulnerable to sexual assault as well. Not every NT is the same some have there own vulnerabilities such as depression and anxiety. So it might not be autism itself that makes people vulnerable but other factors that include both autism and NT's. Though I can see why people with Autism may be at further risk.
