did you chew or twirl your hair when you were a child?

Never did. My son did from a very young age...before he had too much hair, he twirled my hair...drove me nuts...
He doesn't do it much anymore...

I did both I don't chew on my hair anymore though^__^

I chewed on my hair a lot when I was a kid. My mother hated it.

I twirled and played with my hair a little bit when I was a child and I still do sometimes.

I used to put it between my teeth...also twirled and touched it a lot.

Yes I did. I still do it. I hate it when other people touch my hair.

I chewed on my hair, swirled it, played with it, plucked it and scratched my scalp. I still play with my hair and scratch my scalp. It was the one of the few ways I used to keep myself from touching myself.

yup I twirl it somes times I still do when I am bored or nervous. After swiming I used to suck the water out of my hair. But that was when I was like 8

I chewed it, but also not that much. Not anymore ..

When I was little my hair was very long,and yeah,I used to chew it all the time (my mom was very worried about that).Actually,my hair is more short,I dont chew it anymore (I cant),I just twril it a lot when I feel very nervous

I twirled a lot, and I (for whatever reason, can't really remember) also liked to suck the water out of the strands when my hair got wet. When I think about it now it seems a little bizarre, actually. xD

Now my hair's too short for me to do anything with it, though.

I used to chew my hair in elementary school. I still remember my first grade teacher asking me if it tasted good. I have curly hair so it is very natural for me to twirl it around and around.

I twirled my hair so much and it took a conscious effort to stop and now I only do it when I'm really tired. I also used to pull out my eyelashes to look at them. I think it made them thicker later on, oh and I used to pull out my hair to look at the skin attached at the end. ewww....
I was such a gross little kid.

I don't remember chewing on my hair but I remember it was salty tasting, so I must have. I had long curly hair and would twirl it in ringlets. I also had a flat spot on the back of my head where I would fiddle with the root of my part when I was 12 or so. My mother told me it made me look ret*d and to stop, so I did. I also remember in my 20's that I would find split-ends on my hair and separate them as far up as they would go. Now I run my fingers thru my hair before I get out of bed and roll the loose hairs into a ball. I had a baby at 40 and am still loosing hair! I also love to sniff my baby girl's curls, clean or dirty, both are delicious!

I am still playing with it.. sitting at restaurants, at home, etc.
I remember I think I was in grade 11 but I had to do a speech for a class in high school, and got "marked down" because I was playing with my hair.
