Oh god, I'm so embarrassed!

When I send a message on my mobile, it doesn't automatically delete what I've written in the 'create a message' folder. This has led to a few near misses when I am trying to type a new message to another person because I have to manually delete the old text first.

This morning, I forgot to lock my mobile before putting it in my pocket and it must have got banged around as I was walking along. It went into the message application and sent the last message repeatedly to the first person on my mailing list.

Bad enough.

Except that the last message, from the day before, was to my boyfriend and was basically a soppy in-joke..

And worse, the person it got sent to multiple times was my ex boyfriend's home mobile number.

My current boyfriend thinks this is hilarious, but I am completely mortified. I am not friends with my ex due to a number of incidents where he alternated between making crude jokes about me in public and trying to emotionally blackmail me into dumping my current bioyfriend, but we are on the same sports committee, so I will probably run into him again.

I have already sent a text apologising and explaining it was a wrong number but is there anything else I should do for damage limitation, or do I just have to sit tight? Should I say anything next time I see him or pretend to have forgotten? I really hope his parents read the messages first and deleted them... or that they've changed their home phone number since... or don't recognise mine...

I think it may also have sent the message to another number, but I'm not sure whose it is.... I've run out of credit to reply, so I hope it's just the inernet company or something...

Sit it out and see if he says anything, especially if you already apologised.
