After two weeks of extreme depressing and anxious state, plus exams stress...I decided to go for some retail therpy today :D

This is what I got:

A skirt from Review
the dress on page 5, but in black...coz I've already got the one in the picture....
http://www.review-australia.com/look-book-2/

A nightie from Peter Alexander

A headband from Forever New

And some hoisery for winter

The problem with retail therapy is that... you always feel so guilty afterwards...

but then, I haven't go shopping for a really long time and got quite a lot of savings at the moment so....*trying to convince myself and justify my action* still feeling guilty :P

Why do you feel guilty about buying nice things you wanted with money that wasn't meant to go to responsibilities like rent, utilities, groceries, etc?

Pacific Fair is pretty decent. I like Chermside in Brisbane too, and Queen St mall.

I gotta take myself on a weekend shopping trip to Sydney one of these days too.

Handbags, that's what I'm always after.

I'm always after shoes, bags, top, skirt, dress, belt, accessories..........isn't that everything :wall:

Robina Town Centre has become really good now, but I'm waiting for the Myer to open at the end of this year. Love Myer.

Used to live near Chermside, it is awesome! And there's library right next to it (Aspies' fav place :P)

Indooroopilly shopping centre (also westfield) is good too, used to live right next to it...but i was only a poor high school student back then, didn't get to explore much.

Let me know if you ever come up to gc, can have a shopping meet-up :P most Aspies I've met so far are guys...guys hate shopping

Ah, retail therapy - my favorite form of therapy! :) Though I could probably afford real therapy with all the money I spend on material goods, haha. Anyway, my favorite thing to buy is DVDs. My latest purchases were Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, which I picked up at the store yesterday, and SyFy's Alice, which is due to arrive in the mail tomorrow.

I have that coming from Netflix tomorrow. (I haven't seen it yet.) I will burn a copy for my collection.
I hope I enjoy it, but I'm not letting myself get too excited because I hated Depp in Willie Wonka.
I made the mistake of getting too excited about Where the Wild Things Are, only to be deeply disappointed, so I'm not letting myself get worked up over Alice since I will probably like it better if I have lower expectations.

You hate Depp's Willy Wonka? That's funny, because I really adore him. I think he's cute and funny, though I can see where he might come across as annoying or even creepy to other people.

Anyway, I'm glad you're giving Alice a chance. It's absolutely my favorite movie right now; I'm completely obsessed with it. Or should I say "mad" about it?

He comes across to me as a bad Michael Jackson impersonation. :-(

I bought the finest in boganwear tonight at the shops:

- Purple pair of skinny jeans from Jay Jays.
- Grey and pink knit top from Jay Jays too.
- Inglorious Basterds on DVD from Big W ($15.92 woot!!).

Saw a cool pair of slouchy boots but I decided against them. They would have gone with the jeans.
