I never liked Wonder Woman. I liked Aquaman, when I was a kid, because he could talk to animals.

I still like Wonder Woman! I watched the show as a kid, I own a lunchbox, and a set of stationery. I have to really like someone to send them a handwritten note.

I also love Spiderman :heart:

I was always highly sensitive to equality in gender roles. While they superficially tried to make Wonder Woman a strong character (based on the matriarchal society she came from, that tested her skills on several levels, etc.), you still saw the same old bullsh*t in the rest of her life.

So, while I tried to like Wonder Woman, all I saw were flawed archetypes.

{And no, that purse doesn't make you look fat, but it doesn't go with your shoes, either.}

Agreed. I suppose the character was progressive for the times, but in the end all that really mattered was how pretty she was and how big her tits were.

I called her "Bullet-Deflecting Barbie".

I like the poll. :lol:

I liked wonder woman when I was little. I didn't really buy the invisible plane, though. The bullet repelling bracelets though were cool. That outfit was ridiculous. Her build was good, though. Very womanly.

Her invisible jet was amazing! Although it frequently comes to mind while driving on the highway - I think what other drivers would look like if their cars were invisible and laugh out loud.

I totally rocked Wonder Woman Underoos (who wouldn't?).

I used to dream that my aunt had one and would fly over my elementary school making sure I was safe. ;0)

My mom bought me the most amazing Wonder-Woman costume for Halloween when I was 9. I was so proud of it, I never wanted to take it off. Unfortunately, the week before the costume party, my friend and I played "Barber-Shop" and she chopped off all my hair. So you can imagine, walking into an Aspie nightmare of screaming, laughing children in a community center, then being chased around by kids saying "Look! It's the boy Wonder Woman" Hahahaha"...no fun. I never wore that costume again. Nor did I enter a community center again. It's hilarious now, though, when I think about it. :lol:

I was indifferent to Wonder Woman. When I was younger, all of my fictional role models were male. That's only started to change in very recent years.
