I don't know if any of you other women are like this but I know I am. I think its related mostly to change and routine. When my period starts, everything kind of runs off course for me and I get more panicky and emotional because of sensory issues, changes in routine and whatever... because some of the things I usually do, I can't do on my period. It makes me really uncomfortable.

One thing that I have trouble with is showering during my period. It's harder for me because my flow is heavy and I wear adult pull-up diapers for them. I can't stand tampons because sensory issues and also because I have trouble fixating my routine to change them. With adult diapers, its easier because they can hold more and I'm not worried about my pants or underwear getting bloody.

So anyway, does your routine change when you fall on your period? How does it affect you when your routines change during your period?

Ever since I had my hystorectomy, I no longer get periods. When I did get my periods, I had no energy and was only getting out of bed to use the toliet or to wake my pet lizard up. My periods would go on and on for over three weeks or more and were not red, but black. My periods were so thick they were making me anemic. I finnaly found a gynocologist who was down to earth and able to convince I would never want children and was finnaly able to have a hystorectomy. I do not regret having it.
