I hate my frickin period! I HATE IT SO MUCH. It keeps getting nastier every month. I've never wanted to stab a bodily organ so badly.

This month, it came TWO WEEKS LATE. During those 2 weeks, I had to deal with the horniness and sore-as-hell tits, and heightened irritation I normally have to deal with only a few days beforehand.
Now the bastard has finally come, and it's not even sorry. Its freakishly painful. I have the lower back soreness, AS WELL AS this new little addition: searing, sharp, excruciating pains in my anus/vag/bladder area. If I sit up too fast, I wince. If I lay down, I wince. If I try to pee, I wince. I feel like I've got a knife for a tampon. :(
I. Hate. It.

Yeah, I hate how even when it's late, the PMS usually shows up on time
*awkward aspie sympathy hug* I hope you feel better.

Every period of mine's excruciating. I take Magnesium supplements to minimize the cramping. Banana seems to help a little.

I hate my period, too. But I guess that's pretty common. I hace never met a woman who loves her periods. Maybe when they are just starting. I am lucky, though. I go through the
horniness, bad temper, back pain, sometimes I get cramps (but thats not common), and it lasts like forever... when I heard it usually lasts 4 days I was like WHAT??? It is 7 days for me. But I still think I'm lucky. I've met women who suffer horrible pains each month to the point they cannot function those days, and had a co-worker once who had hemorragies at least the first three days.

I know the feeling. Mine are very painful aswell and have made me ill on several occasions. It's interesting that others say even when it's late the PMS just lasts longer because I have found that too. Very annoying. :x You have my sympathy.

I hate it too. I even had a procedure done to minimize it. But now it's back...it's not as bad or painful, but just knowing it's there irritates me.

I wish there were a safe way to eliminate mine, to be honest.
I have suffered since the first one, basically.
I get the full gamut, including the horniness, appalling rages, fits of crying, cravings, bloatedness, sore boobs, bad cramps and fatigue, as well as insomnia a night or two before.
I despise the bloody things.

OMG I would die!! !! !! !! I feel so bad for u!
Mine usually lasts up to 5 days. I hate it too because it leaks onto my bed sheets and blankets when I sleep even thought I have a pad on, and I PMS so bad beforehand! I will NOT wear a tampon! I tried that like 2 weeks ago and nearly cried! I can`t handle that feeling! I`m gonna stick with pads!

It's mostly spotting but my moods are all over the place as a result of the birth control. Still better than having a baby...

I can sympathise. I used to have infuriatingly heavy periods which knocked me out for over a week. Other ladies just said 'it's only a period, we all have them' but no one would say that if they physically felt what I did. Mine got so painful and irregular that my doctor put me on the pill (mycrogynon) and now I only have one every three months. I still hate it when that period comes round but it's a lot better than having them every 2-3 weeks sometimes with little warning. I know that there are certain risks with taking the pill but I swear I would have murdered someone by now if the severe PMS was allowed to continue

the source and type of pain and late period makes it sound like you might have an ovarian cyst, especially if an inserted tampon causes pain as well. if the pain continues you may want to see the doctor as they will want to check to see if the cyst ruptured or if there is torsion of an ovary. take it easy and don't overdo it with exercise for a few days as it increases the chance of torsion etc. getting worse, anyways.

((((hugs))))
