What is the difference between being someone's very close friend and having a crush on them?

To put it bluntly!

The crush has to be mutual. If the other person just wants to be friends, then that's all you're going to get.

I can't really speak for anyone. I know I am a guy posting in the women's discussion as well. Disregard the person that says sex since it isn't always true.

When it comes to friends and crushes, it has to be mutually beneficial for both involved and your feelings should be considered before the others are.
