I had to stop it, it was making me angry, I wanted to before, when he stated womyn are dominate I was positive he was a herk and idiot

he is extremely heterosexist AND cis sexist as well as just really seeming to want to stay as an entrenched power

Sorry guys I didnt mean to offend I was hoping to make people laugh not anger. I only thought it was funny because how rediculous he sounds like in a conspiracy theorist sort of way and don't take him seriously. Most situations when a man says hes figured out women it makes me laugh because every woman is different. To me there is nothing to figure out or need to figure out.

yeah, you need to be clearer on that - just saying you think he is funny can be taken in two ways,

1 ) he is funny because you agree with him both of you are MRA's

B ) he is stupidly ridiculous/foolish

as a lifelong feminist I get way too much of the former, sorry for any misunderstanding

Its B I dont really seriously agree with what he said. The way he was describing was like they are all part of some underground secret society to take over the world kinda thing!

I mean the Equal Rights Amendment was a good thing and I fought for it, but many of them were just wrong, and the way they hate on certain people is just wrong. (I won't discuss the invalidity of the idea of misandrism)

Im also for equal rights just not to the point where it leads to bashing men either we are both equal regardless of gender or sexual orientation we all have feelings and are human and should all treat eachother withdignaty and not as objects! Thats how I see it I am an equal opportunity person I am somewhat of an egalitarian.

yeah, last two posts

as just a joke fine but only knowing you don't really mean it - the problem is many men have come to me and said "Hey I like womyn also it make me a male lesbian, have sex with me or let me watch" - see the thing is she left out one big requirement for being a lesbian, you have to be a womon plus all that stuff.


the other thing, wanting both genders to be equal is what feminism is all about, that is why the ERA was proposed. Plus the only men I get angry about or at are those who try to oppress me or I get really mad at the ones who try to force me to have sex with them, especially the ones who know I am lesbian.

Well Im not one of those men I see lesbians as basicly men without a penis, someone to hang out with but nothing other than that I wouldnt want to try and have sex with a lesbian because thats like a gay guy trying to have sex with a strait man and I have dealt with gay men sexually harassing me as well. Im not physicly or sexually attracted to hairy bodies or penises either! :lol:

I happen to be a femme, I pass for straight on the street other than not wearing makeup ever (which is actually not that uncommon in CA where I come from)

personally I don't hang out with men much at all, most tend to have interests that are different than mine, like sports and stuff

One of the guys aka a person I can talk to. Some lesbians I have hung out with are the butch type I would play pool with and talk guy talk and they would agree with me and laugh with me kinda thing!
