the day i met my best friend, i felt an invisible pull to her, and could just feel that she was a type of person i could get along with. a week later i found out she was autistic, and 6 months later i too was diagnosed. it was like a spidey-sense type of thing. have any of you ever experienced something similar?

I’ve definitely had “kindred spirits” experiences like you described, but never tied it in with autism or other neurodiversity. I wish I did have a better sense of that sort of thing.
