What does it mean to get your stomach puffed?

Some East Indian guy who goes to my clubhouse was there, a couple of months, ago. He's really not doing that well. Anyways, he was looking at the size of my stomach and he asked, "Is that the real size of your stomach, or did you get it puffed?" Does it mean something sexual, or does it mean something else? I have no problem with the size of my stomach. It's just a thought that crossed my mind, as I was eating my Puffed Wheat.

hey cockney, not knowing if your a bit on overweight side, but if hes looking at your belly and said get it puffed
sounds to me hes asking are you pregnant. in a way it does sound innappropriate for someome to ask that, its just really none of their business if its flab from obesity or if its from pregnancy.
many asians are out to look for a girlfriend ASAP and maybe its just his way of asking if you pregnant. and depending on what you say may determine if he wants you or not, and that he could become a canadian citizion without taking immagration test
if it gets to that point, just be honest with him and if he asks more about you and relatiohships jus tell him you are not open or looking for a mate and wish him luck.
i had an asian appoach me while in high school, that relationship only lasted 3 months, all started when i fixed a broken door in his classroom at technical school, ended when he got fed up seeing me fixing doors and wearing the hardware so i would prevent dropping expensive closers.(i was not really wanting him, neither was i in love with him, i think he was more of a normallizer and thought hardware was dirty or disgusting (he was in an office skills class there as well, LOL) to tell truth, id rather kiss a greasy door hinge then kiss the stinky asian who thought showers would cleanse away the good spirits.
ok sorry about my rant about stinky asian from high school, but thats what i think may be going on between you and him, just be to the point and be firm if you have to.

Thank you for the advice and the bit of education, as well. Now I know that it meant something sexual. He's also tried to kidnap Sid and he was pretending to fondle his private parts. He also does this thing with his hand, where he reaches out to women, and than he pretends to pull her power in, by clenching his fingers, as he pulls his hand in. I've told him in a firm voice that in Canada, men and women are equal, and that I have no interest in him. He's also going off to two friends of mine, that I don't like him.

what a charmer, Syd! how can you resist?

in the States we call him a 'green card chaser.' In love with citizenship, mostly. Good call to blow him off.

cockney, if this is happeneing at clubhouse, can you maybe tell the owner or whoever directs the program your in there about his behavior or maybe have them talk to him that his act towards people isnt acceptable??
sinsboldly, when i had a green card chaser, he was deterred quickly since he had a peeve of seeing me with door hardware in school, during the 10 minute lunch i had, i would sit on picnic table while drinking soda while nearby to him and holding a door closer (not same one as my avator) after a while he said "that thing disgusting, take it off you please jees"(my name is jess)
so yea used reverse psycology and got creative with hardware, and the method worked and never heard from him since, he then later got expelled from that techical school for harrassing and annoying other female students there. so as the slogan by symantec goes, protected by norton this time was door hardware, not software

LOL, that was pretty good, DD! I am glad your beloved hardware was the gallant 'virus' protector dashing to your rescue! Men may come and men may go, but a good rixson-firemark model 2220 is forever. . .

im pretty sure that guy would have fainted and had a heart attack if i had shown him the 1952 russwin traditional style closer like seen in churches and old schools LOLOLOL

about rixson-firemark, about 10 years ago they stopped making surface mounted arm type closers, now they just do concealed in floor kind.

yes YES thats an old style closer, and on their left side was the speed adjustment knob, mine, the label on front and end of knob is brass or copper. the rest of it is dark grey (cast iron) sitting here at puter with mine now,
i think door closer makers should bring them back, not only the body style is intersting, but if you decide you want the door to stay open or not spring closed, just do is release tension off the gear thing at top under its arm and it lets door freeswing,
sure as heck CANNOT do that with them modern type such as LCN4000 or the one in my avvie.

another thing i like about old closers, they leak or break a spring you dont have to take it all apart peice by peice to get to the broken componant, being in an old closer (such as RusswiN) the spring is in a seperate chamber then the oil and piston.
my norton is a 1604 storefront/utility closer, most commonly seen on aluminum door frames used in storefront door installations.
the model number means 3 things, the 16 part of it is series number, the 0 is arm style (0 is regular(arms are right angle to body of closer like mine, 1 is for parellel(such as the LCN4000 mentioned earlier in this thread) and 4 is spring tension number hence 1604
cockneyrebel, yea i think reporting his behavior to head lady is a good thing to do, in case that other participants have reported him and thought they were just tattling like small children, the more people that report it the better the chance they will take the reports seriously that his behavior is just not acceptable at the clubhouse and let him know or do something about it.
didnt mean to hijack your post about closers between me and sinsboldly, was just saying how i got my green card chaser to take a hike and quick.

good idea! it is in their interest to know he is having an ulterior motive for being where he is, doing what he is doing.
and I am sorry for the thread hijack, too. Who knew door openers could be so interesting!
