I'm a guy so its a good thing I don't know.

In men's washrooms, there is so much vandalism including swastikas drawn on the walls of the stalls. So how much vandalism do women's washrooms have?

Sometimes. It depends on where you are. At my university, I barely see any vandalism in women's bathrooms. In high school, it was pretty bad there too. Although most of it was "Nikki's such a whore!" or "So-and-so is a cheater!" or some inside joke. I wanna know who has the time to sit there and carve at the wall? How can no one hear the scratching noise? :/

People smoke in the bathrooms in my school. There is also obscene language written all over the place.

In my HS there were pretty bathrooms. Paper and soap were always. There were also mirrors and handsdryers and noone destroyed them. But my school wasn't "normal", it was special HS for "better than the best" (but even there I was a nerd, really, people had social life). Intelligent kids don't destroy everything what they can.
So it depends on school.

If by "washrooms" you mean restrooms, then hell yes! All of the girls' restrooms in my high school were so nasty. Sometimes, I'd see brown stuff smeared on a stall wall with a label next to it that would say something like, "Dis came out my p****". There was handwriting all over the place; even on the mirrors. Most of it was profane. There were even entire arguments written in some places, as if the wall was an internet forum.

Most of it is just petty, irrelevant gossip in schools. In public restrooms, it depends on the place but they're generally free of a lot of vandalism but aren't very clean.

They do it when they go poo. First of all, there are times when no one is in the washroom (like in the middle of a class period) so no one hears the noise. Secondly, even if someone hears the noise, they are unlikely to care what the person INSIDE THE STALL is doing.

OK, so I get the picture. Turns out high school girls aren't neccesarily that "disiplined" or "classy" as I thought. Girls in university seem so mature. I seriously have not overheard a conversation between 2 girls where they are talking about inappropriate or nasty things. I also haven't heard a girl in university say "f***!" in a while. The most they say is "sh**!"

as an adult, i often read the scrawls in public washrooms. sometimes it is quite philosophical but usually not. most often it is warnings about certain 'players' or angry messages to other women.

i'd like to photograph the deeper stuff and post it on a blog somewhere. it interests me.

I've never gone to high school, so your guess is as good as mine!

interesting! did you get a GED or is it not necessary for your life goals?

i didn't graduate high school, but i went to uni as a mature non-matriculated student (and became a teacher, ironically). in order to be a teacher in another province i had to get a diploma, so my province's education board granted it to me based on life/work experience.

does it impede you in any way to be without a diploma?

University girls are barely older than their high school counterparts, so I don't even know why you'd expect them to be that much different. The only reason you've never heard inappropriate or nasty conversations between two girls is because (1) they know better than to gossip in public and (2) a third person is needed for gossip time to be extra juicy. Try sneaking in a voice recorder into a girls' lounge room in the dorms--you're bound to find that some of them are perfectly capable of being an ass.

In my high school there was a little bit of graffiti on the walls, I used to write silly stuff on it myself like smiley faces and calling certain popular girls chavs and stuff.

Do you go to college? I have the impression that generally speaking, colleges have this sense of "last chance in life to party and get wasted and hook up" while university is more like "its not high school anymore, we can still have some fun but its time to get down to business."

University. I work hard so I can play later. :)

Granted, there are lots of people who view University as the same as college. Those people usually drop out within the first two years if they're lucky. XD
