Tonight, my fiance kept making this horrible sound, "Ungggh!.... Ungggh!" over and over again. The sound literally made my ears hurt.
So I turned to him and I calmly asked him, "Could you please stop making that sound?"

Then him and his mom made astonished expressions, and his mom said, "Ooh, does somebody have PMS?"

**********

If politely asking someone to stop making a particular sound is PMS behaviour, then I guess I am just a raging PMS machine!
So watch out!
Because I just might ask you to speak a little more quietly!

lmao, what? XD;;; Why was he doing it in the first place? At first I thought it was a sex sound, but then his mom was there, LOL.

Yup that sounds like major PMS. :lmao:

We were all in the kitchen, cleaning up after dinner. He was making the sound to pretend to act like a zombie or something. I dunno. But I really don't see how calmly asking someone to stop making a sound that hurts my ears, and saying please, is PMS.

I didn't have an angry face. I didn't have an angry tone of voice. So I was quite confused as to why they reacted that way.
Besides, I'm nowhere near starting my period, so it can't be PMS.

I really felt offended by his mother's comment, so I posted that little rant.

Ugh! That is just NT's trying to figure out ASD's. They can't, so they ascribe NT characteristics (going through PMS) to ASD individuals. They don't "get" us. It sucks.

That's really weird. XD; Maybe you came across as passive-aggressive or something.

I thought "passive aggressive" would be like saying "Gee, it sure is noisy in here." without looking at him. Not directly asking him to stop.

Oh, the confusion! :?

You should have turned to his Mum and smiled and said, "I don't know. Do you?"

Agreed. If you aren't pleased as punch to put up with people's annoying habits 24/7 then you must have PMS.

Was he doing it intentionally?

Yes, yes he was. Ehh, he's usually quick about making sure I'm happy, though, and immediately stopped making the sounds.

But I do agree with the previous comment. Whenever I am not moronically grinning from ear-to-ear, I get accused of being sick or depressed. If I ever express even the slightest displeasure, frustration, or annoyance, I get accused of being PMS.

Well, how about just feeling normal?

Yupyup. Or if I'm not menstruating, something else, like hypoglycemia or too much caffeine.
