How Much Do Your Hands Shake? (If Any)

Mine used to shake directly after smoking (I've given up for a couple of years now). This was no good to me when I was painting, I couldn't hold a brush steady enough for the required brush strokes. I had to wait for the shakes to wear off.

Most of us have a bit of a tremor. My dad thought he was the only one and panicked thinking he had Parkinson's because his father had it. He shone a laser pointer at the wall and showed us the tremor the point made on the wall. He gave it to my mother to demonstrate how a normal person doesn't have a tremor, but her hand shook too. Then he gave it to me, thinking that my mother might have something too, and I had a tremor too. "Now everyone has a tremor," my mother said.

When I am under pressure and damands are coming at me from all directions, my hands do shake when trying to get everything done in a timely manner.

my hands are usually steady unless i am holding a rock to take a picture of it with my webcamera. the more i think about getting a good picture the shakier my hand gets

My hands shake pretty much like Captain Miller's in Saving Private Ryan. Not often, but sometimes and obviously; and like Cpt. Miller does, I sometimes watch them shaking and wonder...

It's good that you brought this up because I've always had problems with tremors. My hands wouldn't shake constantly but they would jerk. It was very embarassing. Eventually I started getting violent seizures on occasions after having been prescribed adoral which is a stimulant. I tried all kinds of anti seizure medication. Then when I was prescribed Clonazepam which is used for social anxiety, my tremors and seizures went away. I still have a problem with my hands being steady. I don't hold heavy things in one hand. Also, I know that when there's too much stimuli or activies around me I get unsteady and akward. I'm not saying the pill I was prescribed will cure seizures or tremors, everyone's different so you just have to try what's out there and see if it works . It is a known fact that caffeine or anything containing stimulants will worsen the symptoms for someone with a seizure disorder.

Constantly a small amount of shaking or sometimes my fingers will jerk a tiny amount on their own. If I am nervous or stimulated in any way, that shake increases a lot.

Repetitive strain injury can cause tremors/shaking,if use computer a lot,that could be why.
Am had very bad hand/wrist tremors as a teenager which was definitely RSI related,but rarely get tremors anymore.

Is that considered a typical AS thing?

My hands usually shake slightly when I feel uncomfortable or nervous.

I had a Brain Aneurysm 5 years ago, I constantly have shaky hands... I take xanax to help control but it is so embarrassing and sometimes my whole body will shake. I just found this site now, I was looking around to see if there were any other kinds of medication I could take or if I should go back and see the doctor I do not seem to be doing any better.
