i just have a horrible inability to fall asleep(even if my eyes and body are literally drained 8O ) or in best cases i'll get scattered rest throughout the night, sometimes this leaves me getting up late cuz i continue trying to sleep, i yearn for just one LONG DEEP SLEEP

ive tried sleeping pills and best they can do for me is a few hours and i dont wanna take that s**t anyway

but i think the music i'll describe below may be the solution, only problem is that i need to compile a playlist of something that INTERESTS me so dont post online radio streams, i need to preview ur suggestions first or else i'll get easily irritated listening to random music that is most likely gonna suck

what im lookin for-

- instrumentals/beats ONLY, no lyrics or voices

- must be urban/dark/trip hop/mellow/abstract BUT IT HAS TO HAVE STEADY HIP HOP/RAP like drums, drum pattern of course doesnt matter, i like strange melodies especially

- no jazz, techno or anything else unless u absolutely think i have to hear it

- to give u an idea, somethin like this is decent http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7240776 just click on lofi or hifi stream

that sites got a lot of good indie music so if yall interested in somethin like this for urself u find somethin good there lemme know ill be looking for more

ight thanks

I can't see that link with my browser at the moment but I suggest that you sample and mix up the beats of your favorite relaxing songs for yourself ... use audacity or something like that. The software will let you make repeating loops out of the parts of the songs with just beats.

May I suggest dark Hard House or faster trip hop has more repetition still (but not like DnB)

The reason why I say this is back in the day around 2000. I used to lie in the dark listening to this stuff, which isn't the stuff I usually listen to at all. It put me in a coma like state I could be lying there for hours. It effectively render you unconscious. It also needs to be nonstop back to back, with no interruption like talk. So you need at least 3 hours of it. Fortunately there was a good slot on the radio at the time.

That sample is great, I like the breaks but they aren't going to put you to sleep seriously.

There is two ways you can be put to sleep serine gentle (which probably isn't going to work with you), and hard repetition that put you in the zone and block out your thoughts that are keeping you awake. It is probably because you mind is taking over, music that is repetitive enough should put you in a coma like state, and it tires you out but in a good way.

This is why I like hard rain outside my window so much.
