So, do you agree with it, do you disagree, are you happy about the results or not?

The academic tests are a bit strange. They provide such a small sampling of actual academic skills, especially in math. If it is based on the WIAT-II or the WJ-III (you can see what they gave you on the report), I wouldn't think too much about it. The same is true for the cognitive test. If you have anxiety difficulties while taking the test, that can definitely effect the test. I think an IQ of 93 is pretty good, especially if you have anxiety.

PS - Spelling is highly overrated. I live off of spell check LOL

I've had IQ tests that I scored very low in I am talking about in the 80 range. Very close to mental retardation. But its too high to be a low functioning autistic. They also check if you have speech and of course I do, I speak 24 hours a day that is why I'm becoming a public speaker and go to Toastmasters (a public speaking group). Sometimes I agree with my shirt that I have that says, "I took an IQ test and the results were negative." The highest I EVER scored on an official IQ test was 101. My mom keeps on saying my IQ is 140 but I have seen my medical records and that isn't the case. I wish! If they tested my knowledge in psychology, planes, and video games then I would score that high. My math skills are horrible. I can barely add 1+1. What is the answer to that tough question? Is it 384892? I've had algebra many times and it never stuck in my head. I don't know much about history either, but I do know everything that is going on now, especially with the economy. The economy is strong says someone. No its not! I say back. We are in a depression! If not a depression a very severe recession. Never in my lifetime has it been so bad (I'm 26 years young) and I predicted all of this. Blame me. I saw it in my dreams.

Basically, you scored average. Whether you were impaired by something and you should have scored higher, nobody can tell.

That anxiety thing can be a big problem for Aspies. If they were right about that, it's probably a bigger problem than the "low-average academic skills"... which just means you're probably a C student or something like that. If you work in an area that doesn't require huge amounts of academic skills, you can dodge that, but the anxiety will get you in trouble anywhere.

great job, you are around the 25th percentile for IQ, yet it is the worst way to gather skill. I would rather have a hard worker who is employable than an intelagent person who can do nothing.

I see people in mensa who push doors when they should pull...

93 isn't low. It's average. It's no more "low" than a 107 is "high". Besides, the IQ test does have a relatively large uncertainty. You can test a guy one day and then test him another day and he could vary by ten points. With autistics it's even worse, given the communication problems and sensory craziness and overload that can keep people from even making a proper measurement to begin with...

Mensa's website says it's worth me taking the test to try getting in to Mensa, and my IQ on internet tests is usually about 130. I will push a door even if it says 'pull' in large letters on the front. I often look for my glasses and then discover I'm wearing them. IQ doesn't really measure intelligence.

The report I got from my shrink was useless. He barely acknowledged all my anxiety symptoms.
