There are few times my head and my heart have told me the same thing.
I remember I made the sensible decision to join the military. I did very well on the testing. But I was miserable thinking about it and woke up one morning and the voice of clarity said No. It was not right for me. I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders. I will probably always follow the heart but I hope to advance to the point where my heart is happy with a logical decision.

i want to try to listen to my instict more its like this feeling that tells you to do something and if you dont because its not logical then i start to feel frustrated.

imagine what would have happened if you did join the military

They aren't at war at all with me.

They just don't hang out together very much

Logic dominates my emotions.

I don't know. I think I'm too much of a space cadet to function well under those circumstances. It's probably good for them that I didn't. I'd probably do something like throw away the pin and hang onto the grenade (seriously). 8O

I listen to my gut. It's more reliable than my brain or my heart. If I have to use logic to override my gut feelings, that means I'm compensating for the lack of instinct.

It's like martial arts. You use logic to learn techniques and ingrain em, but once you actually have to use em then you have to act on what's been ingrained in you. You can't use logic when you have to act, it's too slow...

oh yes they definitely are at war. In which case I try to focus on the logical side rather than the emotional side, because I know the emotional side is not rational.

No...logic always completely overrides any emotion...I am more rational and logical than emotional.

I am very emotional and follow my intuition, you tend to second guess relying on logic

It's hard for me to know what say my "feeling", but at the same time my emotions are affecting my logic. It's hard for me to tell if my logic is affected by the "good" or the "bad" emotions. I end up very confused. :(

Yes. My emotions and my logic don't cooperate with eachother at all. Generally my logical side is in control.. But then if if something upsets me, then my emotional side just goes crazy and takes over without consulting my logical side at all. I don't understand my emotional side very well, it just kind of does its own thing really.

My reason and my emotions definitely don't like to cooperate. Emotions generally win.

I figured out how to toggle certain emotions by using logic... (I don't want to feel this right now...and now, I don't.)
I suppose that that means that my emotions are subservient to logic.
...Or at least some of them.
