When my psychologist asked me about my thoughts I just told him obesessing about loosing my fingers in a lathe accident was the weirdest I had. I did not tell him anything that I thought could get me locked up.

I know from friends of mine that if you are ever arrested and they ask you if you are having thoughts about harming yourself you should always say no otherwise you will spend your time at the holding center naked in a cold jail cell. You should also keep quiet about any type of mental issues or former mental instatuition stays otherwise you could get tied down naked to a bed for a few days. 8O

I am nervous about my evaluation on August 6th my family members keep teasing me about I go in for 4-7 hour test and end up being comitted against my will. They also tell me do not worry they will smuggle in a hacksaw blade in some burittos so do not swollow any of them whole. .

Well okay then. I don't have any motives to kill anyone now, and jail scares me some bit. I guess people are lucky there's such a thing as the law.

It does SOUND like anti-social personality disorder, but hopefully both you and the OP know it's impossible to make any diagnosis over the internet.

I do know

Can I ask you why you believe you KNOW or considering the  ....perhaps you're being sarcastic here?

I was being vague because I was too lazy to type more. I didn't mean that I know the OP has a personality disorder, I was acknowledging your statement that I couldn't possibly diagnose over the internet or even in real life.

and NEVER tell a professional you have thoughts like these, or thoughts to hurt yourself unless you want institutionalized against your will.

But isn't that telling the truth? Since I'm seeing a psychaitrist soon do I tell them everything or not?

This post makes me pretty certain you don't have antisocial personality disorder. Someone with APD would NOT care if they were lying to their psychiatrist, and it would come naturally to them.

Maybe it's just manifestations of depression. Are you depressed?

But it is a big indicator that the OP should get a new diagnosis and not seek out an amateur psychiatrist that is too lazy to do any research.

If the OP has Aspergers, then i'm the f*****g pope.

The person is wondering if they should tell them everything or not. It does not show if the person "care" about lying to their psychiatrist for the benefit of the truth or self preservation. Stop assuming things that aren't there.

Irrelevant, the person isn't even 15 yet, they can't be dxed with APD.

True....but conduct disorder might be appropriate. AFAIK....there are some psychologists who believe minors can be legitimately dxed with anti-social personality disorder.

There was a Law and Order episode about that, but i'm not just basing this on a fictional TV show ofcourse.

People, it's okay. I've heard you can't be diagnosed until you're 18 too, but there's someone on WP with 'sociopathic tendencies'. Maybe that's what I have?

I'm just going to tell everything to the psychiatrist. Nice discussion this has been. Really.
