First I'm really curious as to how many of you have a calendar calculation fixation (e.g. finding the day of m/d/y), when you developed it, and if there is a range of years that you work within. Mostly I want to know what the experience is like for you.

Ever since I was little, I've had a HUGE fixation on calendars and I've always tried to find out what day of the week would a specific day be in any given year. One thing I'm really good at is remembering birthdays of people and I'd use that to calculate exactly what day of the week they were born. And when a somewhat unimportant event happens (but if it's significant to me) I'd remember the exact year, month, and date they happened. (e.g: I still remember a winter smog advisory happened from where I live on Saturday, February 5, 2005, or a thunderstorm dumped 100mm of rain on Friday, August 19, 2005.)

Hi...
I wish I could do calendar calculations. I do have a bit of a fixation on knowing how long it's been since major things have happened in my life.

I.e it's been 9 months, 10 days since I discovered AS
It's been 2 years, 6 months, 5 days since I bought my house

Cheers!

That counts in my book.

I have a calendar fixation, but only with VERY specific and dates in my own life - some important, some unimportant which I just happened to notice the time or something, or think of it. I can't do calendar calculation stuff, I just remember the precise date, and often time, down to the minute.

For example, on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011, at 7:28 PM, me and my (then) girlfriend (now ex) were checking out at a store. I took my turn checking out at 7:31 PM. This one is just an example of a totally boring moment being remembered.

Another one, along the same vein, Friday, September 2nd, 2011, we went to the state fair. That one I remember just because it was a pretty awesome day. It looked like it was going to rain on us, but once we got out there, and parked at 4:47 PM, there was nothing but sunshine. I could go into even more detail if you want, about which times we did certain things that day. We left at 9:32, even though we intended to leave at 9:15, simply because we wanted to find this one mini doughnut stand - I even remember the color of the token they gave us to exchange on the other side of the stand for the doughnuts - white, and it was really just a plastic poker chip.
