I value her contribution to the autistic community. I think she is a "normal" person so you don't have to feel embarrassed. Just ask regular questions (her recent trip, is she tired, animals, work, autism, coping). Let her speak about what she likes and try to talk about your life a little, what problems you have, what did you achieve, your challenges, cats, and so on. Maybe she will help you feel more at ease anyways. If she looked really tired, well, spare a few words.
