Still though...what do you get when you cross a chicken with a dragon? A fire-breathing egg laying machine? A giant flying hen that terrorizes the neighbourhood?

I feel with my avatar picture, and the expression on her face so befitting what I imagine hers to be soon after saying "Nevermind", I have no option but to post here.

Also my guess is roast chicken.

I disagree with purple donkey, you could make a functional creature out of them.

Definitely. Breakfast helps make a more functional dragon.

That's a good point. I was just thinking the dragon would like having an extra cock.

Well, in many mythologies, dragons are shape-shifters and magic-users. So if it wanted, a dragon might change shape to become a chicken. Some dragons might even be capable of turning the chicken into a dragon.

Aren't modern chickens the most genetically similar living decedents of therapod dinosaurs? In a way, they're already crossed. :D

edit: Nevermind! The joke was about dragons, not dinosaurs! :oops:

If you cross a chicken with a mammal you get Buffalo Wings.
++++++++++++++

I was just partipating in a thread in the science forum here in which someone posted a video of paleontologist Jack Horner discussing how easy it would be to turn a chicken INTO a dragon!

Well...not a dragon... but a dinosaur. Close enough.
