i REALLY hate taking pictures
i'm not exactly good at showing facial expression, and the person taking
the picture -iron clad rule yet to be broken- demands a smile
i can't fake expressions, smiles are more like an involuntary response
and when i can't produce one the person with the camera inevitably gets mad.
anybody else have this sort of problem?

I like showing off my aspieness and often crave having a Facebook account just for that, but then realize it's not a good idea considering that Facebook can be like a huge time warp.

I don't like when other people take pictures of me as it feels really uncomfortable but selfies are okay. I'm not the best at them. Lol.

In the past, I was obese and had low self esteem, so I hated having my picture taken. Very few photos of me since my teenage years.

However, I do not mind my picture being taken. However, I do not know if I look scary or normal from before. Perhaps I will share a small recent photo sometime in the forums.

I'm really bad at picture-taking. When I don't know that I'm being photographed the pictures usually turn out really well actually. But if I know that someone's taking my picture, I either try to smile and end up looking like a crazy person, or I don't smile at all and look like I'm depressed and don't want to be there. It's really a no-win situation! (unless I'm caught off-guard lol)

Just like almost every other person I know, I hate photos of myself.

I take pictures of myself obsessively when I'm hypomanic, and have no interest in pictures of myself when I'm depressed. I tend to be one way or the other.

I like seeing me with interest related stuff; makes me happy.

I feel indifferent otherwise.

I'm mostly indifferent, but I hate posing. If I try to force a smile, I don't know what to do with my eyes and I usually end up looking like a bug-eyed cartoon character or all squinted up like I'm high...
I don't mind candid pictures, though (as long as I'm not doing something dumb).

I've never taken a lot of pictures. Most of them were of toys (when I was little) or pets or family. I want the memories, but I'm not very into taking pictures.

I hate pics of myself. I don't mind the ones from when I was little (up to about 10-12), but the rest? Blech!

I am okay if I take them myself or if the picture is taken on a front-facing camera so I can adjust my facial expression to match the other person's, but having my photo taken is terrible and my nervousness really shows on the photograph.

Very much so. I'm afraid I have a hideous looking smile at the best of times, due to having a pronounced overbite and four front teeth that look more like fangs than not. And I do myself no favors with most posed pictures, since I either look like I'm snarling or grimacing while trying to fake a smile.

I deal with it as best I can, but it is nothing I look forward to.

Thanks to my former Brother-In-Law, an absolute photo nut (takes THOUSANDS of pictures a year), I have grown to absolutely loathe having pictures taken of me. After years of having it forced on me, the minute I see a camera I just try to get away from it, if at all possible.

Your question isn't entirely clear to me. Are you asking if we like taking pictures or if we like having our picture taken?

I don't really care much for taking pictures. When I was younger I took a photography class but really don't have any interest in taking photos now.

If you're asking if we like having our picture taken then yes. I like having my picture taken. I like to see what I look like. I'll smile a little bit but not one of those big smiles that show teeth.
