Both my parents were 35, but there were more 'complications'.

1. Strong autistic traits in my mothers family. Autism officially diagnosed in four of my cousins.
2. Father suffered severe malnutrion during WW II (some indication of epigenetic effects have been implied by scientific studies)
3. I was born anywhere up to 2-4 weeks too late, as well as having my head thrown back, Delivery with forceps. I had hypoxia at birth. ("Blue" baby)
4. Mother used DES to prevent miscarriage. Effects of the drug on second generation are still unknown.

Take your pick. I don't know.

That study must be wrong in my case then lol. mom: 17 dad: 19 at birth.

My dad's side of the family shows autistic traits and some specific people (like my dad himself) could be diagnosed with ASD/AS if they actually looked for a diagnosis.

Though he may be more mild than I am but still.

My folks were both in their twenties. My youngest sons autism has been considerably more severe[also with more comorbidities] than anyone else in my immediate family, and I was 38 when he was born.

I think that's only the mother's age?

Mum was 25 and dad was 28. Brother has Autism and they were 23 and 26 when he was born.

My parents were both 33 when I was born.

I've read though that the age of the grandparents may also be relevant and both my parents were youngest children with, respectively, two and four siblings that were all around ten years older then them. So my paternal grandparents were 41 and 38 when they had my father (they were also related, probably cousins, but not sure, and shared the same family name that only exists in one small village, where they both grew up) and my maternal grandparents must have been around 40 too (don't know their birth dates, though, as they died early).

My mum was 32 and my father was 36. There are strong autistic straights on both sides of my family, though I am the first to be officially diagnosed. When my little sister was born my mum was 36 and my father was 40, she turned out with Dyslexia and ADHD.

I think my Mom was in her late twenties and my dad in his early thirties.
