Imelda Have, my mom has a tube sock full of dried beans and tied on one end, she uses it as a heating pad, few minutes in the microwave and it stays warm for the longest kind of time.

Touching things or cuddling with others. I used go to my girlfriend for cuddling, but we're not together anymore. My brother pushes me away and says "That's gay." and my sister is unwilling.

I just found putty called Thinking Putty and it doesn't pick up dust and pet hair and it has NO yucky smell :)

That sounds great. I'm definitely going to look into getting Thinking Putty. I don't use my Theraputy anymore because of how dirty it got.

I have the one called super lava, it's fantastic :)

I like the bouncy balls that light up when they bounce, hula hoops that make a whizzing sound, scented bubbles (my ex tells me I should put glow stick liquid into the bubble mix some time), and without objects I like to jump around and spin, I like the feeling of scratchy sand on my bare feet, or squishing my cats' bellies gently for that warm furry feeling.

That's the type of thing my bag of corn was made for. I got it at a local fair and I liked the weight of it. I haven't tried heating it yet though.

I don't think I'd stick a bag of dried corn in the microwave, unless I was craving noise that is.

Sorry forgot to mention that it's not the type of dried corn that you can make popcorn with. It's the dried corn that you find in cow feed so it doesn't pop. I do like the sound of popping pop corn though :D

Marbles. Lots of marbles. Dump some on the carpet and roll your hands in circles on them. I also like marble eggs (they are rocks so they are heavy). I also have a red silicon hot pad that you'd normally use to put hot pans on. I like to hold it on or over my face. The feel of it and the red color is comforting to look at. It also has very rounded nubs on it that are nice to press between your thumb and fingers.

I like colorful things to look at. When I was pretty little, sitting me down to look through our huge drawer of photos could calm be down from a meltdown. I think I liked looking at all the colors on the glossy paper. I really like looking at newspaper ads and I think it's for the same reason. So maybe a colorful magazine or two might be good to have on hand if you're like me.
