OMH! You are NOT naive, kraftiekortie! They might believe so, but I certainly don't see it. Your understanding of subtlety belies their complaints in spades.

For me, people always criticize me for being a legalistic know-it-all. I couldn't possibly know what I spent 30 years or more doing as a profession and avocation in government. It tweaks me, but only for a short time.

How much of what others complain about and criticize is really just a projection of their own misunderstandings and mistakes?

The reason, I believe, why people make fun of other peopleis because the honest truth is that they feel inferior themselves. So they want to make you feel bad too, so maybe they will feel better about themselves.

Not to sound racist by stating absolute facts, but, this is why the Europeans enslaved melanated peoples for as long as they did. And yet, Black people are still "slaves" to them. They successfully made us feel extremely inferior because they hate themselves deep down. Perhaps not all white people do, but most.

They made Black people feel so damn lousy about themselves they try to look "normal" or white by straightening out their natural, God-given curly hair or they will get butt, tits, and lip implants to woo white men who are fascinated yet disgusted with black femininity.

Now, I am prepared for "you're a racist!" bashing comments but I will keep speaking truth even if it gets me banned.

I would die for the good of my Afro-American people.

Indeed. My DNA and family history is nothing but white European. But, no one in my North American pedigree owned any slaves (I don't vouch for my religious ancestors like Muhammad or my royal ancestors like King David). People usually point out my lack of attention. I seem to have trouble focusing on anything, which makes me look confused. The object blindness is the worst thing of all. I HATE object blindness!! !

By default, I tend to be literal. So if I am tired or overtaxed in any way, I tend to take the things people say at face value. I don't do this when I am not tired or overtaxed. I think I have learned to compensate for the tendency, but when I can't compensate, it is obvious.

I also, apparently, think in too much detail. I don't really understand what that means, but I get that feedback a lot.

I sometimes get up and leave a room in the middle of a conversation because I think of something else and don't realize the conversation is still going on. Conversely, sometimes I try to continue a conversation after everyone else thinks it is over. I have been known to get to the middle of a sentence and not know how I had planned to finish it, or what point I was trying to make.

LOL! Whenever I read my answers to posts like this, I question my self NON-diagnosis! :lol:

My enjoyment and knowledge of genealogy has frequently allowed me to find common ancestors between my friends and I. They think it is creepy (to be related to me or that I could so easily determine our relationship in either case). I consider it just a fact of human nature.

So, I suspect that if you are connected to any Euro royals or early North American colonials, we would certainly be cousins.

My oddity since I ever went to elementary... My "craziness".

For being literal.
... not getting their jokes. (Especially adult jokes)
... having the wrong tone of voice, which gives wrong expression.
... having this goddamned allergy.
... being picky.
... my walking gait sometimes.
... my cold sensitivity when I'm the only one complaining about it.

That's not all I'm sure.
