I have heard those songs :)

There's a dinner at the bingo hall where I live that Dean and I go to each Monday. I like to sing songs about the meal that's being served on each specific night. The night we had lamb, I sang the twisted version of Mary Had a Little Lamb. We had spaghetti tonight, so I sang On Top of Spaghetti.

My boyfriend does this too!! I just made a thread about him cause I suspect ASD with him.. When we're together he is very childlike, singing, dancing, making really silly jokes, making weird faces. I have not been Dx but you just described me , I can't help but sing "Under the Sea" whenever I see a lobster and I'm 46  .

My GF said she says I find it hysterical to scare someone ( i.e jump out at them and shout Boo ) and says I laugh too much at my own jokes and sometimes can't finish jokes because I find them too funny.

When you do this, do you realise it's not 'normal' adult behaviour? Or is it just natural for you to act like this? My bf hasn't been diagnosed but I suspect ASD and try to understand his thought process. :D

Firstly you haven't offended me so don't take this the wrong way. What the hell is 'normal' adult behaviour , I thought I was just a funny guy , who has hasn't changed his dress sense since he was 18 ?
I did not know that my actions were not 'normal' adult behaviour , when not depressed I'm always looking to prank someone for a laugh. I'm not Johnny Knoxville but I was doing what the Jackass gang do long before they did and I'm sure people did it before me.
Personally I don't think your BF behaviour is abnormal for an 18 year old boy , see how I used the word boy because at 18 most males are still mentally boys ( I still am  ) which is generally why woman go for older men as their maturity level usually match , OTOH I could just be a weirdo and there is no credence in what I say.

I tend to mimic people's speech patterns. After speaking to a ditzy twentysomething year old girl who uses childlike expressions to sound cute, I end picking up her vocabulary until I realise how childish it sounds

Lots of adults act like kids when they feel comfortable doing so.

People only have to act "adult" when they're in relatively "formal" environments.

I'm a 56-year-old adult----and I meow and howl on the subways.

You sounds like a typical New Yorker to me, kraftie!

Well it seems to me most adults act more serious, and from my experience non ASD boys at age 18 try to impress girls by acting more tough or trying to be a man. My bf acts very girly, singing and dancing around like a princess haha, wearing my pyjamas and acting like he is a girl, laughing veeeery hard with this but in an innocent way, not like he's a transvestite or something haha. He did this on our first date when we went back to my hotel room. I didn't think this was 'normal' behaviour but he seemed to be comfortable and not thinking it might me odd to me.

If you're cool with it, then it's cool.

I wouldn't have acted this particular way even as a six-year-old. I've always played the boy/man role.

This sort of behavior is not Aspergian/autistic in the least.

It's just "him."

Sounds like he's just trying to make you laugh which is another way some boys get girls - it's the only tool I have in my box when it comes to getting girls , laugh them into bed

As I've mentioned in my other posts I too do things most adults find childish for example I sleep with a stuffed animal and pacifier
