Comfort Item?

I would say my beard comb, it's metal looks like a folding lock blade,( I've been accused of carrying a weapon several times) if it were lost or misplaced, I would probably have a meltdown, or you could even say my long beard is my favorite thing (it's like pet), but without my comb it would be unmanageable.

I always carry with me appart from the usual stuff (wallet, phone, keys... and yes, that's the order), I have been using an infinite cube for some time now (you can look in google), and I have noticed, on the other hand, that it relaxes me in cases of severe anxiety, or simply when I am more nervous than usual (always basically!)

As well as the hand tools in my pants, I had a very slim ring-binder notebook in my shirt, with various reference info, my address book, a calculator (early adopter) and pockets for cards, tickets, etc. Now, my best comfort item is a phone number for possible help. (Still no 'cell)

I have a worn out blue Webkinz leopard that I bring with me in my car whenever I go out. I also have a small 3x3 inch square of fabric with a marble inside that I keep in my pocket and fidget with all the time.

I carry an umbrella everywhere whatever the weather, and drum rhythms with my fingers on the handle.

Ironically, I take most comfort in a minimalist approach - that is rarely carrying-around anything non-essential!

I have my stuffed Om Noms and a plush pea pod that I sleep with that are my comfort items. I take my three favourite Om Noms and my pea pod with me every Saturday that I go visit my parents and spend the night.

I just realized that my main "fiddle objects" are my ears. If I feel a hair, I get rid of it. Happily, those hairs don't hurt when plucked.

I have some plushies that are my comfort items. Namely an armadillo, Assistant Mayor Bellwether plush, Kif Kroker, and some others, and they help to give a sense of security when I hold them.

It is rare that I don't carry a comfort item with me.

At home, I have access to the blanket I've kept since I was a baby. Otherwise, my phone is pretty much my comfort object.

I've got all of my stress toys and plushies that I mostly use to comfort me when I am feeling upset or angry, they have really helped me get through hard times in my life and I am thankful to still have use of them
