Networking, particularly career-related. Both directly (networking with peers, within the industry, and with other industries) and indirectly (forming social networks which could help with career moves and opportunities).

There are also a not-insignificant number of things in life where you're expected to be able to provide personal or professional references, and if you don't network or have social circles this can be very difficult. This can be anything from job applications to renting accommodation to various psuedo-career opportunities like applying for university projects/scholarships or gaining membership to various clubs and other organizations.

This has come up often enough that I'm half-tempted to look into forming a local group of aspies which exists purely in order for us to be each others' personal references for various things.

Kind of pointless to ask what disables people the most and also allow people to choose every single poll option.

I suppose you are right.

Interacting with people in social situations, regardless of who is with me or not.

Even after thousands of flights, a pilot will always use a checklist before take-off. I use one before driving anywhere, and it really reduces the anxiety over forgetting something.

I've never been able to average one 'phone call a day, and now, more than an hour of conversation ruins my sleep.

Probably the biggest impairment, though, was the assumption that reason would usually prevail in an argument.

So far, I did not checked any of options in the poll.

Executive functioning may be the worst in my case. I am slow in many practical tasks. I have no talent for visual thinking and visual memory.

I have no different way of processing sensory stimuli, but i hate discomfort associated with showers, haircutting, changing clothes and I "tend to avoid them". I have never had a sensory overload so I think that I do not fit to the image of average individual with ASD because of my "neurotypical" way of sensory processing. I am just poor in dealing with unpleasant sensory stimuli, not hypersensitive or hyposensitive, I think. But it also can be very problematic (for now I had no shower for above 54 dobes!).

My mentality is asocial but it generally is not painful mentally or physically. I am also very "weird" mentally.

Some people may think that I do not have autism at all despite the fact that I received diagnosis of Asperger syndrome more than 12 years ago in a specialistic center.

The irony does not escape me in this statement as I have seen this too. All the way up the food chain . From
1. On 1 individual conversations to political discourse in city counsel chambers . Even in country wide political discourse at times .

And sometimes. This causes to to be concerned over NTs. Consider to be normal .

I'd say burnout but since that's not an option i'd say motor skills but since that too isn't an option. Idk probably choose social skills but that doesn't really matter that much cause i don't talk to people anyway.
