Oh geez.

I would argue that even those of us with the most mild form of autism are still closer in relation to the "high support needs" than we are to neurotypicals. Especially in the eyes of society. And that's not a bad thing.

Considering I was diagnosed in the DSM-IV era in the late 2000s, I personally consider myself an Aspie (though I am aware that Asperger's Syndrome was lumped into the current autism spectrum disorder diagnosis circa 2013 when the DSM-V was published).
