Hello nca14,

I have a similar diagnostic history to Double Retired and share his question a bit as well...

I understand and have appreciation for the need to have an closely matching diagnosis, but have also come to realize the vacuousness inherent to labels. As the saying goes, when you've met 1 human, you have met 1 human. ;)

kind regards,
Kada

Your OCD making you question your diagnosis. Listen, just see it as another label you have for your problems. Feel free to get reassessed but that might be dangerous if it's OCD. Then you will obsess about what if you faked it, what if its wrong. What if they didnt do any comprehensive testing. That is what OCD does.

My OCD has moved on from this to my face. I take pills to mange my compulsion. It got so bad, I needed to be on medication.

I appear to have serious problem with OCD, yes. I get 30 mg of paroxetine, 100 mg of sulpiride and 2 mg of reboxetine, all at morning every day last weeks.

I talked with ChatGPT today and ChatGPT suggested that I have verbal thinking ASD, even without NVLD and not NVLD without ASD/PDD, even more not NVLD without ASD/PDD. I also talked with ChatGPT about my sister and ChatGPT rather strongly suggested that she is autistic too.

I may have lost many symptoms, but neurologically I will always be autistic.

For someone on the spectrum I am very social, extraverted and I am rarely overstimulated. I don't disike parties, crouds and noise. Understimulation is more of an issue; definitely an autistic trait.

I also have problems with feeling (in a literal sense): I am less sensitive to cold, pain, hunger, thirst. I can sometimes be overstimulated by smells and understimulated by flavors. I am not a picky eater. When I am in a foreign country, I like to eat something from the local cuisine. The chance is very little, that I do not like it.
