I'm sat here digging my nails into my arms

Not because I want to hurt myself but because I'm trying to relieve some kind of pressure or build up if something

I don't even know what it is but it's really difficult to remedy and it feels like it's deep in my muscles

I'm thinking it's maybe a sensory issue

Does anyone have any clues

I'm not sure as to the reasons, but maybe this is caused by stress or maybe you are under stimulated/hyposensitive and need the pressure to remedy that sort of sensation?

Yeah thank you
I think it might be because I've not been able to exercise properly for a while

I'll be ok

Had similiar, when my muscles wanted to be exercised.. its inside ... but not going to swear on this , Just noticed,I had it less, if I kept that particular muscle area more active. After awhile it would go away for me. but I still think my muscle area wanted exercise. Some people go to massage therapists to help relieve it I think . Or my late Doctor would tell me to take a soaking bath for about 20 mins, with about a cup of epsom salts , that seemed to dissolve easily in hot water. That helped too. So I added a little CD player with favourite soft music, and maybe a candle too that you can watch , in the bathroom. Just a Idea... helped me in the past.
Might check your magnesium levels , Or add a magesium supplement possibly ? Good Luck Babybird

This is just my shot in the dark guess but could this be something like stimming behavior?
