I would do that with Robotech comics. In about grade 4 to 8 (age 9 to 13), I was obsessed with Robotech. It was the best Anime I had ever seen. I was very jealous of the character Max Sterling, who married this hot alien anime babe he beat in a knife fight. I was obsessed with a few other animes as well - Ghost in the Shell, Akira, and Ninja Scroll were my favorites.

Oh man this one is going to be hard to explain, but having characters from the multiverse ask themselves if they are okay. Like whenever I'm watching a movie or show from the multiverse and something bad happens to a character I say in their voice "Are you okay? What ever their name is" One time I did this at a movie theater I couldn't stop laughing
