I like summer because....

I love the summertime. It's so nice to have April coming, and spring is beginning, and the leaves are starting to grow on the trees, and the butterflies and bees are starting to come out, and the grass has that lovely fresh green colour, and you know you've got lovely, warm, long days coming ahead, and winter has just passed......

I know most Aspies seem to like winter best, but I love summertime. I thought I'd start a thread for the summer people. Does anyone else here like summer better than winter?

Ok, I see that you're not a winter person, but did you really have to leave Winter out of the poll entirely?

In the absence of Winter, I'll say Autumn. It's a close thing, anyway. Both are great. The reason I like the colder seasons is that I like dressing up warm, I like wind, rain and snow, and I like Guy Fawke's Night, Hallowe'en, Christmas, and New Year.

I don't particularly like Summer, because I don't like heat. It's OK for certain watersports like surfing, though.

I don't like summer. The heat makes me angry and I can never get anything done.

Don't like winter either. It's too cold and Christmas is depressing.

Spring is all right, but it's too close to summer.

Fall is the best.

I like the end of fall, right on the edge of winter.

I'm in Florida so there's no seasons. But in Missouri I loved the clear days of spring and fall and the comfy 70 degree temps.

I like summer, because I get to wear my t-shirts.

Your poll is lacking an option. Such people do exist, yes, shocking though it may seem; Christmas is in the winter, after all.

(Personally, I prefer fall, if we stretch the definition of fall to include everything from the beginning of August to New Year's.)

Eh, I usually like whatever season is next one the most if that makes any sense.

Well, to be fair, there's already a separate thread for winter.

I don't like summer too much, I get all sweaty and everyone uses it as an excuse to make me go outside, even though for me boiling heat is an excuse to stay in

I prefer winter and autumn, but mostly winter. I prefer cold over heat even though my toes and fingers hurt when I do not move. ANd snow is beautiful.

I prefer autumn. Summer is too hot, winter is a bit cold so autumn is comfortably in the middle. I like wearing t-shirts too, but I don't feel the cold as much as most people do

Spring - the air is frangranced with flowers and birds leave their bowers
Summer - eating sorbet and the cool evening breeze at the end of the day
Autumn - warm rich colour as plants fall asleep and crunchy frosts under my feet
Winter - keeping snug in my jumpers, scarf, beenie and thick woolen rug

I really like Winter and Autumn.
I hate summer.
I can't wait for really cold weather.

I didn't mean to leave it out, it must have been an error. I done all four seasons but winter didn't seem to come up after I entered the post, so I went back to add it, now I've got 2 threads both the same. How do I change the poll thing?

When you typed in Winter you had to click add again.

My favorite season is autumn because the temperature is just right and the colours are nice. But I can see good and bad things for every other season.

Spring - nice weather, but it floods and comes along with tornado risks.
Winter - warm clothes, but roads become dangerous and you can't go outside as much.
Summer - it's nice to have a part of the year really warm, but all the sunlight hurts your eyes.

Sometimes I get angry and wish the weather was always the same but I think it's nice to be able to experience different seasons and weather extremes.

Summer because I'm always FREEZING.
